That is super cool dude +reps. I was watching a utube video on something similiar. u might want to wrap the glass cause the roots like it dark. Awesome invention! Peace & happy gardening!

This is for cloning? What do you have to actually spray the water up to the growing medium? There isn't any kind of dome or anything to keep in mositure? Clones need a high humidity and all your doing with that air stone in oxygenating the water... not water the plants

Something like this would definately be better for vegging not cloning and no 13 watts of anything isn't gonna be enough imho

how will your roots get water? they have to grow down into the water? how long will that take? a day, two days a week? a week with now water = dead plants

I just notice that too. I have ezcloner & it mist the bottoms...As Bud dub said u need to get water to the roots bro. Check out how ezcloner works maybe u can make something similiar. Or bring your water up higher. Look up Bubble cloning. It was on a post here yesterday.

Your on the right track just keep the water about 1 inch from the bottom of the cutting, the bubbles bursting on the surface spray water on the cuts and will work just as well as any clone machine. I made my first cloner like that 9 years ago and it worked great. More air the better keep the good work up. A dome will help and yes put them under your 4 00 keep them about 10 inches away or more so they are not to hot and to one side of the light.

dude i built one identical. works great, i keep the stems about 2cm under the water and the roots grow like wild fire! just change res regularly. I dont use any dome or mist the clones, they dont seem to need it in this system.
