Hey doc, thanks. I like to vape, it seems to be a stronger hit and easier on the lungs. Plus I can resmoke it my pipe when I am done with my meds in the vape.

Hey SB...you never sese to amaze me with your ideas... I never thought about smoking the vaped bud..... I must give it a try. I love my volcano.. less harsh on the lungs.
I got my scope yesterday and spent a good deal of time trying to get a picture of some trichomes but had no luck. I used my little digital camera and then cell phone but I cant seem to take the image with the plant upright. Did you take a bud off and then scope it vertically to take the image?

I actually cut a tiny bit of leaf off and set it on the counter, place the scope on it and get it dialed in. Carefully put the phone camera lens over the eye piece and take a pic. It takes practice. Lol

LOL....well I have given this much thought as well,.... and I have to say.. I think if its ABSOLUETLY nessessary, and I mean ONLY ABSOLUTELY nessesary.LOL. then its OK. But only ABSOLUETLY. I have yet to try this method but I am getting to the point where I think I might have to ... I know it is in poor judgement but sometimes there is just no other choice. Peace man

yeah, if it comes to smoking uncured free bud, or high dollar dealer bud, im gonna get the bong and ice to make sure i dont get to harsh of hits from the uncured stuff. its not that bad. there are methods of curing the bud while it is still growing

it is a method which basically ferments the plant during the last week or so of growth. you do this by drowning the plant the last weeks of its life. what the plant does is live off its O2 reserves from the plant since it is not able to pull oxygen through the soil. this "cures" the bud while it is growing. riddleme has wrote much on the topic. many have tried with great results. hope this interests you somewhat.

it is very cool
i planned on doing it with my last harvest, but decided I wanted to try and reveg. danielsgb had 2 clones of the same plant in a PC together. he did this drowning technique to one but not the other. he said there was a noticeable difference in quality of the bud immediately following the dry.

sure you can rip it right off the plant and smoke it in a bowl. but you will get a lot of chloroform and it tastes like poo and its very harsh. i like to cure my stuff because it sweetens it up, tastes better and ooooooooooh soooooooo smooooooth. and the smell, well lets just say, yum.

Absolutely!!! I would rather keep it in a jar for a few days then get that harshness... Even when I have to 'pick up', I put it straight into a jar at home. Yummy!

No, I hang it up to dry first just befor the stem breaks when bent. Then I cut it into smaller buds and then put it in a jar. Open the jar to air for about 15 min and close it up. Do this for about a month. Then it's all icky sticky smelly sweet!

Im sorry I was referring to the quicky meathod... when you just cant wait to hang it to dry.. when you want to sample a bud real fast.. I know you mentioned right off the plant fresh the bud is to harsh. So I thought you ment take that one bud and stick it in a jar for a couple days then smoke it????????????

Oh lol, no u can take it right of the plant into a vape or u can put it between some paper towels, stick it in the microwave, set at half power fir 10 sec intervals flipping it eac time till dry then smoke it.
