My plant is stuck at about 6" after a month :(

Does it look healthy to you? This plant is about a month old and only 6" tall.
I have 12 26w CFL's on it for 18hours per day. I also had to replant it twice now. And I'm using fox farm and grow big.

What could be wrong :(

Thats a nice plant. Its really growing outward. Its because of your ample lighting, its not needing to stretch to attain light. You could raise your lights if you want height, but keep it growing like that, its real pweetty.

did you top that plant? it looks like its got 2 grow tips.

also why did you transplant twice already? transplants can cause stress which will slow growing.

Wow, I'm surprised at the replies. I have been really sad the past couple weeks because I thought my plant was doing shitty. To answer your questions...

move your lights closer......

Yes, I topped it and it now has two stalks.
The first time was to move it into a bigger pot. The second time was to move it from regular dirt to fox farm.

well topping will cause the plant to slow vertical growth and begin bushing out more. it will gain more vertical height but for at least a few weeks the plant will redirect some of its energy. although it looks like it was topped some time ago so im not sure.

i had a couple slow starters myself this grow. they barely grew for the first month, and now theyre bushing out and growing almost an inch a day.

have you been feeding it? some of your leaves are folding which can mean a Mg deficiency

I do feed it, I did 1 teaspn of growbig per 1gal and I feed it that every other watering. I also have some home depot shit I feed it every other watering too.

Which leaves were you talkin about?

just some of your leaves look like theyre folding in half

and you should use the 18/6 light schedule. any reason you would use 15-18hrs? why would you vary your times?

yes keep your light cycle consistent. try turning it up to 24/7 keeping the lights on.

I dunno, I fuck with the timer because I get worried about the cops, the electric bill, and the infrared.

you can go either way. some people like using 24/0 cuz they say it will grow faster, others like 18/6 cuz they say the roots grow more and to save some electric. its really up to you. but definitly stick to a schedule.

and if your using cfl's dont worry about the infared. what kind of room you growing in? a closet? a cab? a room?

I guess I will leave them like they are now on 18/6

I'm just freaked out about the cops.

23w x 12 = is like 250w

BTW, anyone know how many lumens each plant should have?
I have two right now, the one in the picture and a little one under like 13,000 lumens

you are? try living where i do where i have helicopters flying over my building every hour. and cops across the street at dunkin donuts all day, no joke.

but really, even at 250w i wouldnt worry at all. the heat sig that those lights can give off is nothing that would look out of the ordinary. read up on infared cameras and how they "see" and youll feel better.

and i forget the exact math but i think its about lumens per sq ft of growing space. not so much per plant. search around youll find some info on it easy.
