Smallest yield ever?

Hey everyone
I started this grow on oct. 22 so it's almost been 2 months. I switched it to 12/12 light about 4 weeks ago and it started flowering but it's flowering very slowly. This is how it looks about 4 weeks into flower.


Yeahh... I looks like im not even going to manage a gram from this grow.. atleast that's what it looks like. It does smell like some great bud though, but theres barely any there. I'm pretty sure a plant 4 weeks into flower isnt supposed to look this empty. I added a cfl on the side to get more light to the middle/lower part of the plant. it didn't really help much. I don't have fertilizer so I havent added any, maybe this is why. I only have miracle grow and I think I'm going to use it since I probably won't get anythin out of this plant aanyways. The leaves are yellowing but I think it's because of the cfl being to close so i moved it.

Can anyone give me suggestions on what I can do to get the most out of this plant?
btw it's curved like that because i wanted to moves the top leaves away so that the middle/lower can also get light from the main light source not just the cfl.

Please help!

get some jacks classic its dirt cheap and will help bulk your little gal up. the lack of nutes is making her dingy

No nutrients? thats the main reason you have such small growth, feed her for sure.

well the problem is that i cant find any fertizlier anywhere!
i checked at home depot and ace hardware and all they had was miracle grow =(
do you guys know what store would have a cheap good fertilizer? Maybe wallmart?
oh and if I do find some fertilizer, would it still be ok to add it in after 4 weeks into flower? and also how much do I add?

In a pinch you can use tomato nutrients add it slowly half strength at first.

all i have in the house is miracle grow, and it says to mix it with water and then water the plants with the mixed water
can I use that?

miracle grow is poison for a plant (that you want to eat/smoke)... try any liquid nute, hell there are hundreds out there... get that stuff online, and stop f-ing around with lawn care products... any main line fertilizer will work... general hydroponics stuff is great and as long as you cut the dosage in half it won't burn your babies... botanicare has an organic line as well as their regular nutes that work very very well... i also hear that the advanced nutrients stuff is great as well... get flowering nutes, cut the recommended amount (dosage) down to 25% regular amount for the first two weeks, and then push it up to half the regular amount after that... before you get the next one in the dirt, make sure you get a "grow" nute as well: the better the plant is taken care of in the early phases, the more it will produce later... hope it helps...

If you haven't given it anything then just about anything would be an improvement. Shoot for something with a high middle number...or again whatever ya got really. Give it a half dose of what the feeding directions say. =)

It sounds like he's just trying to work with what he's got and Miracle Grow is totally fine to use. It's not the best fert. (probably the best of the cheap stuff though) but it is safe. People consume shit grown with it all day no problem. Just flush the last week and you're gtg. =)

now one more question, which miracle grow should I use cause I have the food spikes kind, (the one that u stick in the soil) and i have some kind that your supposed to mix in with water and it disolves and turns the water bluish and then you water the plant with it...

You're one month into flower so I wouldn't bother starting now on this round, wait till next grow. Also you're in soil that should have food already in it. A lot of growers can get through most of their grow if their pot is big enough without adding too much.

all three work and i have used in the past...
food spikes generally are too strong for use in smaller (less than 5 gallon) pots, the blue stuff really lasts a long time, make sure to dilute well when you make it, and if you must use it make sure that you don't water every single time with the fertilizer solution unless you want them to get shocked by the nutes... with the links, read the info and pick one and stick with it homie... in regards to the miracle grow, many people other than me agree that you would not necessarily want to consume the product of something grown using miracle grow and similar products...

BS. What do you think they fertilize crops with? Chemicals. You eat chemical nutrient fed produce daily.

I use the blue powder/crystal miracle grow. It says 15 - 30 - 15. Those are flowering level nutrients.

Plants farqing LOVE the shiite. I've had a box of it for like 13 years...still using it.

I grow with nothing but MG Moisture Control, and all plants have been very thick, bushy and an average yeild. I use absolutly no nutes only the stuff thats in the MG and straight H2O. Some people say it wont work or its shitty. I always have to try stuff for myself to find out and it worked great so I dont fix what aint broke, and its only 10 dollars a bag at Walmart.

If you have the one with a green spoon with two ends...use the small end and fill it a bit less than level. (maybe 1/2 of the small spoon end to start then gradually increase to a full small spoon worth) Every third day or so mix that much in with 1/2 gallon or a gallon of water.

REsults will take weeks...you already screwed up pretty bad...do not expect miracles...just expect it to be better than it is now.

You need more light to get better yeild in flower.
Keep your lights way closer. (espicialy early on to eliminate all the stretch).
How much dirt you got under her? Big roots = Big Fruits. Use a at least 1-2 gal pot for a small plant next time. Dont transplant or it could stress her.
NO STRESS DURING FLOWER!!!!!! Time lost recovering is lost bud

She may still fatten up quite a bit.
Do you know what strain it is, Some flower slower an for longer than others, due to sativa heritage.

hey man i appreciate the advice you gave! and those looks like some awesome plants!! i don't think I can get better light, thats all I have i think its a 500w .... uhm I forgot what kind, I will check tomorrow since its on its off period atm. but yeah that big lamp in there and i added the cfl so the sides could get more light
at about the 1st month of veg i didnt have that lamp, I had 2 40w cool whites, maybe thats why they stretched so much? and no I don't know the strain, this was my first grow, it was from a bag seed. I currently have a seed from a friend that had what he called "lavender kush" idk if thats what it really was but I could tell you it was FIRE!! I'm saving that for my next grow, since I will have a lot more experience and It will probably turn out a lot better.

OH i remembered what light it is. Its 400w metal halide. I don't really know much about the lights in growing plants but this one was big and looked good so I used it. Is it a good one to use throughout the whole grow? I only veged under this light for the last week of veg, the first couple weeks were under the 40w cool whites. do you think I wouldve had much more success if I grew under the 400w mh throughout the whole grow?
