I bought a roor bong but i just dont see the difference, smoke is smoke to me.. I get just as high off a plastic bong for 15 bucks as i do a 150 dollar bong. the glass slides are neat and everything, i totally get that. all the cool bowls and ash catchers and shit. its amazing! But does it really make that much difference?
or is it just something cool to collect?

Until you pay more for a bong you wont understand sadly. Its the same reasoning behind why people be a BMW or a Mercadez instead of a Honda or Cheverlet. There is a huge diffrence, you get more stoned with less weed and it is most definitly a better rip and high.

can you feel the smoke in your lungs? I can't.. i agree expensive straight tubes arent worth the money though... my roor ash catch is 14.5mm like my hurricane.. 14mm doesnt sit so well and i wanted a good fit so i went for german roor which happens to be a little pricey

the diffusers break it into smaller bubbles, creating more surface area, so the smoke is filtered and cooled better
then the ash catcher adds another filter
then the jets pull air into the hurricane, and spin it against the wall, which is supposed to use centrifugal force to force tar against the wall.
so yeah its smooth
but in the end i like my vape so much better

I guess you can read my reply to wanabe but yea I think it's a huge diffrence. If you dont see te difffrence in the quality of the rip itself you obviosuly did not smoke a real roor(especially if it was only $150.) The rip is clean, gives a much stronger instant high, and just makes the smoking experience more pleasurable all together. If you dont care about a quality rip and just want to get stoned you may as well buy a 100$ ounce of shake and a 15$ bong at the convience store and rip bowls till your high.

edit: I would never argue against the obvious fact that some bongs are just WAY to expensive.

Cool, cool. I recommend going to a head shop and maybe trying a 50-60 small Gear bong to see if you notice the diffrence in quality made glass. If its not your cup of tea you could sell after the first rip to one of your buddies and end up spending 10 dollars on the expierment

hahah The problem with Roor especially is there are so many knock offs. There are American and German version of knock offs and a store can only sell Roor's if licenced to by Roor. Since they are so popular, head shops that dont mak enough profit to get a license from Roor order the knock offs. Also, I read my previous reply and realized it sounded harsher than I meant it, hahaha, im passionate about bongs what can I say. haha
