Here is what I've cut down so far.
Only trimmed half of each plant, leaving the bottom for another week to fatten up.

Well here is half of the SpaceBomb plant, I have trimmed off every single leaf.
They have been drying for 3 days now, and just today snipped off into smaller pieces. Outer is just beginning to get dry. Any guesses as to final weight?
Wet weight is 68g. First time growing anything with buds this hard. Wonder if it'll retain most of the weight?
Will be interesting if I yield 2 oz from this plant cus I was only expecting 1.

btw I never found the black chernobyl I was looking for. Didn't turn purp even with cold temps.
Didn't find the Apollo with large round calyxes either, but i'ma let the apollo go another week and see if it swells up more.

Then again I wasn't growing in supersoil. Do they all turn purp with organic fade? Or should I pop a couple more seeds?

pop a few more of those Chernobyl. You WILL find a black pheno. Out of 10 seeds I had five females which of 3 turn solid black in the last few weeks of flower. A good fade comes with a good flush.

I really wanted to find the Apollo 13 with large round calyxes. Doesn't look like I have it. Which mother does it lean towards?
I thought they were all pretty uniform?

I've got a Vortex / Qleaner that looks done in week 8 but it's still has some emerging green/white hairs, and some amber trichs. Don't know if I should cut or wait another week..

I go by the trichome color man.... sometimes "crowns" of white hairs will pop out late in bloom....

I never understood the whole trichome thing, my radioshack microscope is retarded and it's hard to keep the object in focus.

Is it 30% amber of the trichome stalk, or 30% of the entire plant? or 30% of a bud? No one ever explains that part in their tutorials. Either way it's really hard to tell. I see a few amber here and there and rest are cloudy. So I figured cloudy is good enough and chopped the ones you see.

Maybe I'll flush for 5 days and chop, cus the Qleaner / Vortex are producing those "crowns" and are swelling like crazy. Don't think I need to flush much anyway since I'm clipping every single leaf off.
