STRAIN: Easy Ryder
AGE: around 3 weeks
LIGHT: 600W HPS 20/4 18" above
SOIL: FFOF 2 gallon grow bags
TEMP: 78-83F
WATER: gallon jugs of "spring water"

I don't know the humidity levels or PH levels..

My plants are looking like shit. They are very droopy and some of the leaves, especially lower ones, are yellow/brownish and feel almost crispy.. :[

The only thing I can think of is under watering..or something with nutes. Last time I watered them was about 4 days ago, I gave all of them around a gallon each of spring water from the store. I have never given them any nutes yet, but I have the 3 pack of fox farm nutes. Could it be a deficiancy or something?? When should I start feeding?
I'm really worried please someone help! Thanks!

i dont see anything wrong in the pics. i think i saw white spotting on the leaves? if thatswhat ur trying to show its probably a mite infestation. inspect your leaves and soil with a magnify glass. if it is kill them immediately by spraying perythrins

They probably just want some water. Did you do the finger test? The lift-the-pot test? These are very good indicators of when your gals need water? Drooping usually means they need water. Or it means that lights just came on.

they do look prety good to me also.. but as far as feeding goes im sure they can handle a small dose right about now... but be safe and alternate your waterings for the first several feedings atleast.. gradually adding more until you get to the reccamended dose

HPS is good for budding but it isn't any good for veggin'. Cool white flouresent tubes24/0 are in fact the best, and I supplement with 400w/mv's 18/6. A mercury vapour bulb is a lot like a metal halide but it's frosted. A mercury vapour will screw into any mh or superace hps ballast of the same wattage. Recently I have run a test with CFL lighting for veggin' but I found the spectrum was too much towards the yellow light and veggin' plants need full spectrum lighting. I use to grow them in shopping bags, and it was the growbags that caught my eye on your thread.

this happened to a plant that i put in miracle grow time release soil. it was an accident. perhaps its something with too much N?

The clawing of the top leaves and new growth. Indicates a mobile nutrient toxicity, and given the color of the plant the likely culprit is nitrogen.

This is assuming pH is in line and bugs are for sure not an issue.

He say he never feed them....why would you suggest to much N?
i seen its in ffof, i didnt notice he said he hasnt fed yet...

this picture shows the curled tips which is DEFINATELY a N toxicity. that soil was brand new when you planted these?

it says in his original post he hasent givent them any nutes...thats why i said give them bigbloom, which is 100% organic and wouldnt cause any overdose or burn anyways, if anything would help mellow out the nutes if it was a N OD...

you are seeing this, right?
yea man...i see...but can you post it again for me?....anyways, if what he is saying is the truth, then there is really no way it can be a N OD... plants that size, that look like from seed, in FFOF...just no way, unless he amended his soil with some shit that he didnt mention...but since he hasnt come back i imagine he found what he was looking forbongsmilie

i also agree that it cant be from the ffof. i asked him earlier if its re-used soil but like you said he hasnt come back.
