Usually a Juggalo is someone who was pretty much unaccepted by most social groups and hated on because of their differences. We find solace in the horrorcore genre (particularly ICP's music) because of the fact that the music touches us on a deeper level. Most people just HEAR our music and hate it and think we're devil worshipers and what not, but if they'd actually listen to it, and if they actually knew what it was like to be an outcast, they'd see the underlying messages. The song that helped me see what being a Juggalo really was, is the song "The Unveiling", and if you listen to that song, you'll know EXACTLY what a Juggalo really is. We love, we care, we pray, we believe in God, we have our own families, we are normal. We do paint our faces sometimes, but it's just for fun. That's basically it.
Lots of truth to this. I knew i was a juggalo when i heard 'tilt a' whirl'. Granted i had been a juggalo for a while by then, but that song, I dunno, just hit me differently.
Here is how you need to look at it guys. YES THERE ARE IDIOT JUGGALOS, duh. I mean, there are idiot maggots (slipknot fans) but ive met some that are kool dudes, albeit few. And i think thats what you guys are experiencing. I mean, when i started meeting juggalos that weren't in my clique, i was already a juggalo so acceptance and being treated well wasn't hard, but i could easily see it hard if you weren't a juggalo, especially if it were a decade ago or so. More juggalos were pricks in the 90's/early 00's than they are now.
Think of Teabaggers(partiers), think of professional athletes, think of MMJ. On the whole (for all 3) they aren't that bad. Whether i agree or disagree with them, they aren't all that bad. But, it is the few, the 1 in 50, the extremists of the crowd, that stand out to us. Does Michael Vick represent all NFL players? Does Sarah Palin represent all Teapartiers? Is Bill Maher the voice of all libertarians? Do the acts of a few rogue criminals truly mean that MMJ isnt worth it? Or isnt effective? Or should be overruled? No, on any account. Your are making generalizations, and just because you've known some douche bags that happen to be juggalos, that does not make all juggalos douche bags.
-edit- Tila was attacked indeed because she didn't belong there, she wasn't wanted there, and NOT ONE juggalo had ANY fucking clue why she was there or who asked her to be there. If she hadn't tried to stay on stage even though she was being booed off, she might not have caught the fecal residue that some sick bastard decided to fling up there.
-edit2- I am also grown up enough to admit i dont listen to much icp anymore. They were definitely kinder to my ears between the ages of 16-20. Nowadays (iam a bit older than that ;D) i still appreciate it but hardly ever find myself putting it in. This doesn't mean i am in denial about its impact on my life either. It was a major part of my of my life and impacted a huge influence onto my morals and values, which, despite what some haters would want to claim, are quite high.
