Greenhouse seeds WTF?

sorry mr attitude seedbank seller but i have had 2 batches from paradise seeds, 5 seeds a time, the first 5 only 1 plant lived and was a joke and the second 5 2 have lived and look ok 3 i chucked cus they looked disabled! no fault of mine cus other plants grew fine along side under completely same conditions.

Can i clarify that i have never seen anywhere on any site that either breeder 100% guarantee every single seed will germinate and be perfect, what the hell do you expect ?? i currently have greenhouse super lemon haze, all 5 germinated, nothing wrong with them at all, i like greenhouse & there range of strains. id be more inclined to say its user not the product.

Id agree that is not brilliant, however, reality is, every seed cannot be perfect, 1 is enough to breed for more seed or clone, so you should count your lucky stars for that.....

If you want solid genetics stop looking at strains that have been around for only a couple years. It takes breeders years and years to lock traits down and cleanup the genetics of any particular strain.
I have 5 Super Lemon Haze from green house, 8 1/2 weeks into flower and I have 3 very different expressions of the same plant.
Want to germinate twins? Look at breeders like Sensi seeds who put effort into constantly making their existing strains better. Rather than yet another company that just smashes hybrids together, then back breed it just enough to release it to the market with a cool name.
Further to that- When your trying a new strain in your garden find out what genetic expression the original creator (breeder) selected. Then clone that one, as it is the true expression.

Stay away from GreenHouse all together. They don't even offer 'standard' seeds which either means they steal genetics or just don't own any solid breeding males. I second what Medimaker is saying; go with a reputable breeder like sensi, or Serous Seeds or Mr Nice. There are many others but I wouldn't recommend GH.
So much hate for GH, yet everyone seems to be growing out the super lemon haze with solid results. So Arjan isnt a reputable breeder ??? thats a bold statement....

Its not hate, but understand what your buying. Seed breeders are not all created equal. Simply put, it takes a long time for breeders to clean up the genetics in a given strain. Some breeders will allocate their collective effort to bringing the latest and greatest strains to the commercial market then dump ridiculous amounts of money on marketing, while others prefer to make what they already have better. Then others will find a balance between the two extremes.
I'm not saying one sucks and the other doesn't. I'm just staying understand the business model of the industry and it will all become quite clear.
Also understand the difference between genetic diversity and unstable genetics.
Dear Sir, when did i state that GH offer regular seeds ???????????? Really, regular seeds are the poor mans option, why the hell would you buy regular seeds instead of fem seeds ????? Other than money or needing a male for breeding.

Fems and autos are more likely to give you genetic issues because of how they're made. You asked me if Arjan was a reputable breeder, where are the male seeds? What 'breeding' is he doing? You must be new to the community if this is the first time you've ever heard anyone speak poorly of GH.
Unless your the person dealing with the genetics directly then your taking third party information, as for business models, ppfftt, mate reality is all the marketing in the world means jack shit when your product blatantly fails and no one comes back for repeat business.......

i think you are simply stating your opinion, based of your grow experience. i think you are displacing your frustration, and failure on the breeder. i've had great success with their cheese, purps, and super lemon haze. i'll be a repeat customer.

I dont think theres a seedbank report on any public forum that hasn't gotten both good and bad reports.. It is what it is.. I have had poor experiences in the past, what I've done is just go to a new source because at that point there wont be much in the way that will change your mind..
For instance I used to buy from marijuana-seeds.nl for years, I was never impressed with the quality but loved their custmoer service and I know many people loved their stuff.. So I just quietly moved on to a different source..

Oh my, do you by any chance ride on one of those blue buses where most of the passengers are window lickers ???? When did i state i know what he is doing and what genetics he is crossing and breeding or that they supply male seed ?????? Arjan and greenhouse have built a rep and are still going strong, all the experience i have had with GH has been a pleasure, enjoyable and given great results. We are each entitled to our own opinion, im not telling anyone there wrong, i just think its harsh to attack GH from a single experience. Theres alot of other breeders who ( a few were mentioned ) that ive grown out and had bad results too, so for each bad report theres a good, thus why GH are still around to this day, they must be doing something right.
