hes good man i just listened to it.. and only at 15 thats great.. my son is into the same type of music.. he plays guitar, bass, percusion, and piano.. but his pasion is guitar just like his grandpa.. OH and hey! sorry, but im gonna have to charge you for the add space.. LOL

hey so out of those strains witch one branches closest to the main stem?

Darn I thought it was going to be free advertisement lol!! Very cool your son is a musican as well... yeah grandpas' influence was there with mine as well :)

I can get both the indie Qleaner and the BB to stay tight to the stalk both the Q wins in the weight dept. Here is a shot of my BB......

I tried BB for a while it always yielded good but im not real happy with the thc content and its too fast a grower for my low ceilings. now the one im using in this grow now doesnt get nowhere as big as BB but its super dense and frosty..

your bb looks real good man!

top notch stuff guys +1subscribed, im looking to do this myself and few weeks ago went searching on the internet typing in "single cola grow cannabis" and took me to a thread on rollitup i got interested and subscribed but that was only moderatly interesting and helpful this thread is the fukin bomb
iv been wondering.. wot if instead of chopping lower branches we were to tie the branches tight against the stem pointing upwards then you reap the benefits of the bud from them branches? would it work??

Hey thanks for all the kind words MrMoores, i hope you get some helpfull info from this thread.. and to answer your ? as to tieing. you will still get many smaller buds that method (same space perhaps), as apposed to just one main cola (premium buds). same if not more yield with less trimming is my goal..

I used this method 30 years ago although i grew in soil. 120 cutting per light 5x5 area. I pinched lower Buds off for the first two weeks or so untill the bud was going all together. Leave all the leaves! Worked great with co2 witch i believe is really nessaray to get good weight flowering this early.
Did this for a year but it was just way to much work! I started vegging for 2 weeks and topping and taking 3 clones per plant leaving 4 bottom branches. Growing 9 plants in same space. Same yield, two week longer grow. And it then became a hobby again and not a Job! Lol

thats exactly what I intend on doing.. in fact this is day 6 and im already seeing buds form i just got finished trimming all lower branches i will have pics up tomorrow of the progress not much growth but they look happy.. i just flushed res and feed with 700ppm grow, super thrive and stay green..same goes with my flowering queens..

as far as what you call work realy i only spent 1hr on flush and trimming. and thats only one day a week..

so folks i think i transfered too early my tallest plant is only about 7", i will measure when i take pics.. i was hoping they would be about 18" when done but at this rate now im thinking 12"-14".. what you all think???

Ok so here we are at week 1..

and let me be the first to say i screwed up.. these plants are way shorter than i thought they would be @ i week in. Hmmm, thats what i get for rushing i should have gave them 1 week to adjust to the hps b4 12/12.. now my earlier predictions of the plants bieng 18" have dropped to 12" average.. SUCKS!! 30% loss in yield for my impatience.. OH WELL lets move on and hope for good things from here on out..another thing i noticed is the little ladies are already budding i thought it took 2 weeks to show with this strain.. haha pot head error #2 i lost my journal of this plants grow history.. so as they say "SCRATCH" yall..

so for the good news;

as you can see in the pics at least they are still happy with me, and because of the flowering queens i should still get a nice yield overall.. also because they are shorter than i expexted i think im gonna turn my ballast from 600 to 1000w tonight to try and gain some inches..

I hope you enjoy this ride folks its about to get fun after next week when they really start to bud.. and as a bonus i just started a scrogg today with 30 bastard clones 9 different strains, cause of the canopy i didnt know any better way to flower that many strains in one tray.. pics next week for that cause i forgot to bring camera today (pot head error #3)

hey guys and gals here are some pics of my outdoor girls just for kicks and giggles.
the happier looking of the 2 is cat piss. and the other is refinery? some srain i got from a local grower it to me smells like its from the herer blood line.. they have been on a strait water diet from day 1 but since the refinery is yellowing so soon i think im gonna give them a N boost tomorrow along with some bloom juice..
and the other pic is just one i took to show someone on a different thread how i dry

hey thank you all for your input. its going good so far im excited that the budding just started, wish they were taller is my only gripe @ this point..

Daniel, what do you think on those out door ladies? i think right around 3 weeks, im gonna get out there tomorrow and clean up the bottom branches and remove all them fairys from my buds.. you can see them in the pic but i didnt notice them b4 i took..

Martha, if you have limited space like i do then a scrogg or single cola grow is great idea.. but if you have lots of space then you can prob get more yield with less plants?? dont know cause never tried big plants, but i have seen some monsters out there..

Your setup is phat as phuk! Gotta say, i joined this forum just to read this thread after being recommended by my bro, this is something we were both talking about for a while after hearing about some guy down the way who was pulling ridiculous amounts of weight out of a 1.2 x 1.2 tent using a single cola grow system. I think this is something we're gonna go for so when we start we'll try and document it as best we can, collaborate all our info etc

atm im using coco with coco A/B + vitamax plus + pk 13/14 but next time im gonna add the advanced nutrients (bud blood, big bud and overdrive) to the mix from the first weeks of flowering see if that chunks my buds up any more..
