Neon Skunk (Super Skunk X Black Russian) Sub.15

Neon Super Skunk (NSSK)
I have been growing a Super Skunk for many years as my weight strain. It stays low and compact and has a nice grapey flavor and I have seen 63 ounces from 2k with her. Suny mentioned to me we were lacking in Indica’s and wanted to cross Super Skunk with the Black Russian Purple male. He pollinated one SSK mom and we grew out a test batch and OMG. Purple tinged ultra funk. Warning High Odor Content! This is not a stealth plant but the cola formations and number of bud sites is amazing.
Other than Stank her only bad trait is she will not compete with taller strains, she grows low and slow almost growing sideways instead of upwards. It almost has to many fan leaves and we found our selves thinning some fan leaves to allow light onto lower buds.

1) Phenotypes-Dark Green with Purple hues and Maroon finishing leaves
2) ) Height- Short & Thick
3) Yield- Very heavy
4) Indoor
5) Best way to grow- Large topped plants with long veg
6) Harvest Window-60 days
7) Sativa/ Indica20/80
8) Hybrid- Super Skunk X Blackberry X Ak-47
9) High type- stoney, mellow, chill, body high, potnap

Hey sub!

First off amazing strains loving all your hard work!

Just curious about the genetics of that black russian? Is it at all possible to cross a few of your strains and possibly get a version nearly like it or was it made with other plants that u got ur hands on?
If that question has been asked my bad ive read this thread i dont think i saw the question? May of missed but anyway keep up what u do best!

I got a breeding question for anyone that knows. I had a Blue Cheese in my flower room (bad idea) and it hermied and pollenated most of my plants. Not too bad, def still great smoke, just a few beans here and there. My question is, are the seeds any good, coming from a hermie father? I've read a bunch of journals/articles saying that Blue Cheese is just real prone to hermaphroditism and I don't want to bother growing seeds out that will just do this again. Any help appreciated.

If it were me I'd grow em anyways, it will produce decent smoke, but possibly seeded. Just don't breed with it. I'd say that it is likely that breeding hermies will yeild plants that hermie earlier or easier.

Big Bhudda is a nice guy but not a breeder :)
No the seeds from Blue Cheese will not be any good.
The Blueberry is passing on the herm trait in the f2 generation as always.
Takes about 6 months to figure this out if you do the work as a breeder
