if that is the reason for the limit it is judgmental and all the more reason to vote no.
You're right. Laws shouldn't have so many labels. There should be no such thing as a carjacker in the laws, only a guy who really needs to get some place and is vehicle impared! Why judge people like that?

:)

Seriously though. That label exists without prop 19 already.

Again, pop quiz. If you get caught carrying more than an ounce without a medical card currently in California you get charged with intent to ____. I'll give you a hint. The word starts with an "s" and ends with an "L". You can do it!

i don't understand how the limit will stop drug dealing, care to enlighten me. if you can. or you can spin off in another direction.
Hard to sell someone a pound if you have to make 16 trips to their house. I guess it doesn't stop drug dealing, it just makes the process really really slow. lol

the whole prop is based around a one ounce limit. lets address it a little deeper than "only drug dealers need more".
yes, lets do that. Please, lets here about why people walk around with more than an ounce for personal consumption.

i made butter yesterday. i make 2 pounds at a time because it is a long process. i split it up and freeze it to use over several months time. i use 4 ounces of bud. so now because i make butter. i'm a drug dealer?
No. Because you are in compliance with prop 215 right? That's medicinal use. What does prop 19 say about medical possession?

To make it more fun lets do it like this. Lets pretend you don't have a 215 card and you just harvested you 5x5 garden and made 2 pounds of butter. Guess what? As long as you keep it in the same place you grow it, then you're still in compliance with the laws made in prop 19!

Now if you take your 2 pounds of butter to the park, then yes, you're either a drug dealer or you have a strange butter fetish. Why else would you bring 2 pounds of butter to the park?

your reasoning is flawed.
Stating that doesn't make it true.

i don't believe in the "have all you want in closet" BS.

no matter how hard you try to convince me.

sorry, let the insults fly.

let's pretend, .....

i'm not medical.

i don't grow.

i want to make 2 pounds of butter.

anything else i need to clarify in order to get a direct answer?

"it may slow down drug dealing" is not really a reason for such a huge restriction. IMO

that doesn't explain why they puit a one ounce limit. why ONE ounce?
Why do you need to walk around with more than an ounce?

one ounce of schwag?

one ounce of bomb?

an ounce of inidca?

an ounce of sativa?

how about hash?

maybe a dash of honey oil?
Yes to all of them. Why not an ounce of honey oil?

just because you don't need an ounce doesn't mean others don't. see: "judgmental" and "butter". ;)
The only person I can think of who needs more than an ounce for personal use is Willy Nelson. So lets vote against prop 19 because it doesn't say Willy Nelson is exempt! It's taking away his freedom!

so why an ounce?

who decided that an ounce and 5 grams is dealing?

2 ounces does NOT a dealer make.

who came up with this and why?

how about, .... "i'm moving across state a few counties and this is what was in my closet. it's only in my car for the trip across state".

think i'll be able to drive away with 5 ounces?
i'm pretty sure you can keep 5 oz's of pot in a 5x5 space

or get a medical card

your choice

you are voting to be controlled.

ok. I suppose showing you where prop 19 says that wouldn't be proof enough right? I don't suppose there is a such thing as proof that you don't want to believe in.

you've obviously never had to go to the park to buy weed.

those guys sling out of half ounce bags a gram or two at a time to maximize profits

i never saw it as getting ripped off, i saw it as giving a homeless chump lunch...or his next meth fix.

Tell me why you need to have more than an ounce in your backpack for reasons other than medicinal which is exempt in prop 19. Go ahead. Do you need to take your bud out for a walk every day so it doesn't pee on the carpet?

i still want to know why i can't?

me not needing to is not an answer.

you all got nothin'.

i'm just fucking with you all until someone with any intelligence can help me understand. maybe even change my opinion. instead of simply trying to insult me.

and i'm not so sure. how do we know for sure who's right?

oh yeah, the judge will decide. your case comes up on thursday. ;)
or you can just drive straight and not speed and never worry.

same as i do whenever i drive through cali with a bag of goodies. my med card doesn't work in cali

all the more reason for me to weigh in on this debate...

it effects me even if i pass through your state....which i do...often

I've told you. No one NEEDS to carry more than an ounce with them if they aren't dealing. I know, you don't accept that answer. But that's too bad. That's the reason, and it is in fact the current law as well. Like it, don't like it, doesn't matter. That's the answer.

You read prop 19 maybe? I know, it's a crazy idea, just throwing it out there....
if it were so clear there would be none of these arguments. it's not that clear. you should know that by now. just because YOU feel you have it all figured out doesn't mean it to be true. nobody will knwo what is going to happen until it does. you don't even factor in possibilities when you reply. you state everything as FACT when the prop is questionable, at best. and not just by me.
