Very nice! Are you still doing blowouts for bubblers or working from tubing now? Tell us your 'tek'! :) btw never could find a video on making spoons with a blowout, can you pm a link if you find one pretty please? :)

Is the new torch a gtt phantom 4 stud? Thats what a glass guy who lives near me says I should get............... Its like $1200 and hard to find in stock...... How does the new oxygen use compare to the old torch? (What WAS your old torch? :))

that bub was made from a blow out. you won't find this tech in too many places. not too many people do it.

the torch is a 4 stud Mirage. don't waste time on the phantom, go staright to the mirage. it uses more gas but in a more efficient manner. i was going thru a bottle in 10 hours on the redmax, looks like i'll get 8 hours out of one on the mirage. not too bad of a trade off. you may need another concentrator. ;)

the flame characteristics of the Mirage are incomparable to the redmax. it's a whole other world. pretty much gotta try it to see it.

Make one with an oversize glass on glass fitting for my bowlpiece and you sold yourself a bubbler.

I'm interested in the bubblers. I just lost a roommate to detox for pain pills or I'd buy that first one now. I'll be PM'ing you in a couple of weeks.

the first bubbler has been sold. woot woot!!!

i tried to make another one today but the weld at the bowl was too small to put a downtube past. it turned out being a stand up dry piece. it's still in the kiln annealing.

Ah so that's what you were blowing today. Spent a good half hour watching; very impressive.

thanks. :)

i'll post pics of the dry piece here because it is a reflection of the direction i want to go in. i'll let everyone check it out so i can get some feedback on the design. it's at 800 degrees and cooling right now.

i don't want to clutter up this thread too bad, but here's the dry piece that was supposed to be a bubbler. didn't quite finish that way though. i also made an "oil dish" and a "mini spoon". :-P
