TOPPED Seedling! can it still live?

Well i did it! Not on purpose of course! Just wanting to know if anyone has done this to a seedling, and can it survive the trama?:confused:

Any advise on this topic would be greatly appreciated...:joint:

if you cut off all the leaves then no, it will die. If you cut off the majority of its leaves you have a high chance that it will die. How many nodes did your plant have? Now how many does it have?

I have a pic but.....you will all laugh at it I am sure of this.
But yes part of the leaf....just part of bottom is still on but main shoot lost!

Don't have more seeds! Only had the one...have plants but no more seeds!

Mg soil mixed with per/. seems to be starting new growth...?
As you can probably see the seed leafs( not sure what they are called are dead) and both first set of leaves are gone only a stem left! wtf...

i honestly can't see the image so well, its quite blurry for me, considering im also a noob maybe an expert can tell you what it looks like through the blur, but if you could take a sharper photo..

It is a stick...nothing really to look at. someone just asked if I had a pic and it is not clear! I will take a better pic soon. It has been topped and just wondering if anyone has done this to a seedling and had it survived?

i would just go ahead and plant a different seed
but from the looks of it,i think it has potential to come back
watch for 2 shoots coming out of the top within the next few days

I have no other seeds. I have other plants but this one is special to me and I really hope she comes back? Can see start of looks like new leaves starting...keeping my fingers crossed on this one. will take more pics as it grows...and it will because the power of the mind can be amazing! Can this even be possible though to have a seedling topped and come back? Wouldn't that mean the roots are well developed?

yes its possible
however big it was before being topped will determine how well the roots r developed

If there is still green leaf in the node, (not the cotyledons but a true leaf) you have a chance to recover this plant. Do not water too much or fertilize until this plant recovers to 3-4 sets of leaves. With only a partial leaf it will not lose much water until it grows more leaves.

Thanks...only water once a week, maybe, only when it is dry. I only gave it one dose of nutes 1/4 strength. seems to be coming back! thank you all who have given me hope and it will come back! I will post pics as it grows bigger and I can get a clearer shot. You all have reassured me it will live! I will post a picture once the true set of leaves comes in. Or at least when you can see it better! lol.

That baby looks like a goner! I would cut some clones from my other stuff and keep it moving until some seeds come along. you ever order online?
