Ok here's one.

ive been playing around with plants for little more then a year now im building a 4x4 grow room i can go up to 6 feet high and will be trying vertical ive got 4 plants growing right now 3 orange bud and 1 ice there little over 3 weeks old started from seeds. i will flower them to find out if i got females then revege.

and here's the questions

i have hps 600, hps 400 and mh 175

i will proboly use hps 600 + 175 mh in a cooltube with a 400 cfm fan and will grow hempy bucket

if i go 10 plants 6 feet tall will i get the same yield as (20) 3 feet plants

oh ya im not changing my mind on vertical it looks so cool

i will have a grow log also any input would help

hi there. wondering if you could help as this is my first grow....i have 14 plant in 5' x 5' x6' grow room/600w light/100tt intake drawing air in from an open window/125tt extraxtor pushing air out through the top of grow room and 2 6" clip on fans circulating air. my problem is that my temp are 30 degrees celcius when i have the tent door closed. if i leave the door open they are 25 - 26, but this defeats the purpose of having the tent. would a cool tube or tower fan help. this is a soil grow btw. any ideas would be great. thanks
ps plants are 7 white widow and 7 s/s number 1, all are healthy and thriving but im about to flower so need to shut tent door due to the smell.

A cooltube or cool hood should do the trick...

Bob you sound knowlegable and since no one has relied to my threads I thought I would ask you. I am in 2nd week of flower and I used Maxsea 3-20-20 at about 800 ppm and I am noticeing that pistils on all my plants are turning brown. Is this something to worry about . should I not use High phos until later in flowering. any advice will help. thanks

As long as it's not a significant amount of pistils turning brown, and the change is not rapid...it seems to be completely normal...800ppm isn't really too high...

Well, there shouldn't be, just handle with extreme care, like you would an actual baby...

Thanks Bob. One more question. I am Using Maxsea 3-20-20 in the second week of flowering and I am seeing a noticeable diffference a few days later. They love it!!! My question is there enough magnesium in well water that I should not have to add epson salts.

Ok bob i have just a few more ?s and ill stop bothern you... First if i have 1 1000watt hps light how many plants do you think i could fit under it?? the plants will be big bud xxl feminized... Also do you know how much i will yeild off each big bud plant??

some of my leaves are twisting but not downward or upwards but sideways... my plant is 2 weeks from harvest

Hello again bob! i have another problem. the tips on some leafs are turning brown and the leafs are curling upwards and looks like they are folding togheter and the leafs feel kinda crispy compared to the others. i added just alittle bit of nutrients on last sunday, maybe its that? ill add some pics of the leafs and the nut i used.

hey i was wondering my plant didnt show any of those balls in the whole veg state then wen it went into flowering it started growing these balls all over is it a normal part of budding or is it a male ?

Possibly, What I would do is just give it everything other than the epsom salt, and look for signs of a deficiency, if it occurs, add the epsom salt...

It's no bother! You can ask me as many times as you'd like, it's what I'm here for!
Anyways, I would do about 14 at the most, with a 1000 you can pull a few oz. per plant if you do everything right!

I know you said you don't know a lot about soil but I am desperate at this point... The selection at lowes is limited. There is a lot of MG soil but I have heard way to many horror stories about that soul burning you plant. Any ideas what I could pick up? Also would 4 100 watt daylight cfl's be enough light for a single plant? Thanks in advance for your time bro...

Since I'm a soil grower, I will chime in that lowes carries Espoma which is a good soil, just stay away from anything that has moisture control
