Too Late?

I have 4 seedlings, they're about 3 days old. I was wondering if its still viable to get descent yeild outside with good weather. I live in Flordia btw and rarely gets below 50 degrees even in January. How much yeild can i get from 4 plants?

How does TOPPING keep it low to the ground? topping gives you more colas. Lst keeps it low and does help yield by maximizing light efficiency.

topping does keep the plant shorter then not topping it, as it causes the side growth to grow quicker, and you do get more colas but smaller ones.

I knew that but didnt see how topping wouldnt increase yield. Or how topping kept it low. I knew it got bushier. My topped plants are growing tall.

ya they can it depends on the strain....but it would be taller un-topped

Just cuz you have 4 cola on one plant, that does not mean its the equivilant of 4 plants, 1 massive cola on an untopped plant will weigh just about the same as one with 4 colas on a top plant, if they are the same strain and age and treated the same.

There are a few obvious ways to increase production. First, more plants, but like Earl said more plants can be too risky for two growers. Second, more light. This too is infeasible for some growers. Fimming/topping = more bud sites in a smaller area, so it allows growers to increase yield without increasing resource usage (space, light, plants, time). A non-fimmed/topped plant can have as many bud sites as one that has been fimmed/topped, but it will need to consume more space and take more time to grow.

in FL you can plant whenever unless its going to get cold this winter but its FL, i lived there half my life, plant em now and you will have PLENTY of time

Topping causes MORE branching - LST the branches to horizontal= MANY cola/budding points. And YES! You CAN increase production MANY FOLD with this technique. Good luck & good grow.......BB

if you don't care whether or not its seen, then don't top. however LSTing can help to distribute light if the leaves are crowding one another.

many fold? your not gonna double your yeild outside by topping. maybe inside where the light doesn't move 180 degrees like the sun.

I believe they make indoor light MOVERS! Such as "Sun Circles". I'm thinking that there just might be SOME advantage to have the light cover your girls 180, LIKE outdoors. AND again, topping and LST WILL INCREASE production!
