The biggest problem I see is HTG is located in the US. It's one thing to sell equipment that has legitimate purposes to people who might use it for other things, it's quite different to actively support a site that discusses activities that are illegal in your jurisdiction. Even if he isn't doing anything illegal, the extra attention may be unwanted.

yeah im throwing the bulshit flag on that one too. htg is so cheap compared to other hydroponic stores which tells you one thing. he cuts alot of margin to make sales. he isnt pulling down alot of money with those prices ill tell you that much right now. he doesnt owe rollitup shit.. sorry to say that but his low prices are a gift to us all and to turn around and say fuck him he needs to pay for advertising is a heap of steamy bullplop..

The closest place to me is shaaaaaaaady as hell. I checked them out online then ride by the "store" to check them out. Man it looks more like a compound than a hydro store. Its a bad location as well, right across from a police station. No way I am buying anything from a place that has a copshop across the street. HTG all the way!

well im going to put an order in with htg here in a couple of days for one of the cheapy $160 dollar 400watt hps. this is the first big package im buying from them so we will see how things go!!

to elaborate to your comment chris. my hydro store is shady too. ran by a bunch of 20 year olds that know nothing about running a business they just like to grow. and i checked them out online and they have 24 complaints with the better business bureau in a span of 36 months... no thank you! ill stick with htg!
this was my first experience. i am a little disappointed with the 2 week delivery time but for the money i saved from buying it at my hydro shop i guess it's ok. i am a satisfied customer.
