a couple nodes from what i can tell appear to be the calyx and then on like two of them i see very very small strands that look like a split tongue and they are a tad bit orangish at the end any indications? i would never be ableto get a pic of this as they are too small for my camera focus.

thanks man. yeah its lookin good so far. i planted it a bit early so it should be showin soon enugh. the last couple days the inner leafing is growin like crazy. my estimated time i grew this was id say april 1st or 2nd

wait... thats odd. all of a sudden i just checked my plant out from about an hour ago and there is defined two white pistils but on two of them at the ends they are orange. o.0 its definitely female though. i couldnt tell you how weird this is lol.

I have def seen orange on young axillary pistils, It's just like the amber of dieing pistils among the flowers.

i've seen orange/burnt red looking pistils on the bottoms of mine before. i figure its just the oldest pistils dying. so now u know u got a girl, now the only thing to do is name her, treat her like a baby for a few months and then tear her limb from limb and set her on fire BWAHAHAHAABWAHAHAHABWAHAHAA!!!!!!! no really, when the time comes, and u will know when this time is young jedi, smoke that bitch till ur lungs hurt!

Preflower and the "Start of Flower" are not the same thing.

Preflowering is the stage where your plant has reached Sexual Maturity but is still in the Vegetative Growth Phase.

Veg Growth will continue until a photoperiod change induces full on flowering.

From the time this change is triggered until you actually see budsites forming on the branches is about one week.

In short, the answer to your question is - wait till you see flowers to switch to bloom fertz.
