one way of knowing what the hell it was would be to eliminate the thort that you had basil seeds lying about anyway, if you dont, you got a funky duck foot plant, if you do, you might of planted a basil plant and thort you got lucky

i guess you have not seen the basil in my yard it looks the exact same so if that what you want to be smokin on go for it but what ever you do dont buy it off the streets you might ripped they might sell you basil or somtin but if you want good soke like that you have to get it from wal mart but you cant ask where the weed is its top secret and they will tell you they dont sale weed just ask for the basil and wink they will now what your talkin bout
O.K. - I've had some problems with caterpillar grubs eating the leaves. It was gross - they were actually INSIDE the leaves if you can imagine that - now I took off all the infected leaf but now there are actual caterpillars eating the leaf. So, not exactly UK bug resistant strain. I hate butterflies!

This week I'll be doing a bud photo shoot - I dunno when - but these girls are sure as hell packing on the weight for only 2-3 weeks in flower. This Monday marks the start of week 27 of the cannabis season - and I'm thinking another 9 weeks to go for these ladies.
That said, I'd like to talk about Lowryder - and am I right in assuming its a Willie Wonder heritage? Because the stems on most the girls are an 1" thick (no shit - that ain't even the base of the stem! I'm talking top cola here)
And I'm thinking the reason the stems are so thick is because they are gonna produce some heavy colas. I sure hope so.
To update you on the trichome issue - I discovered the trichomes a few days ago on the UNDERSIDE of the leaf - but also now a few days later they are getting eye-visual candy specks of trichomes on the topside too.
That said, on some of the very tops of the colas - the leaves on the underside are THICK with trichomes.
And some of the buds on the middle of the plant are really massive. I'm gonna have to show the non-believers a side shot of a top cola to show the INSANE bud growth. There are literally hundreds of bud sites running up each stem of the plants. It's fuckin insane. These are the biggest producers I've ever seen at such a young age.
And I've grown at least 60 different strains both indoors and outdoors over the years. Not the heaviest of all the producers I'd say, only one tops that and that was a Positronics Skunk #1. That was my first grow(!) and it put out well over an 1oz per cola with something like 8 colas per plant. I've never had such good production on cannabis since. Until now!
This is gonna be one hell of a growing season. And even if you're thinking - what good is oz's of LOWRYDER bud? I've also got Cheese X NYCD in the greenhouse - and that is one of the most potent varieties that grow outdoors in the UK. Even two fan leaves from the Cheese made me feel the fear when I first smoked her! And the taste is berry flavour - an insanely potent fruity variety.
Very dark fruit - heavy on the tongue and throat - even when smoked you get the flavour actually IN the smoke - and the room just smells delicious.
Nothing like the old school skunks and Shivas from Sensi seeds when you KNEW it was cannabis that you are smoking! Haha. These new strains are truly something else.

Lowryder comes from Ruderalis genetics and are not very good imo. I wouldn't smoke it. Maybe take a toke just to be polite...

There is a difference between cooked opium and raw opium. Cooked opium is when you do a water extraction from the plant by placing the poppy plant inside boiling water then reducing the water down to a tar. This tar is known as cooked opium. Raw opium is what you harvest from the plant when the plant is alive. To get raw opium, you basically cut the pod open and let the latex drip out and collect it later when the sun has hardened it. Also, it can also be collected by cutting the pod off the plant, and the latex flows from the stem. Not many people enjoy raw opium, but I am one of them - smoking it on foil much like heroin. The taste is sublime.
Did you know there are opiate receptors in the brain? So, basically, generations after generations of humans have been ingesting opiates for a genetic change to occur. Or, God gave us those receptors to enjoy more fruits of the Tree of Life. You see, that THC receptor is not the only receptor in the brain! Opiate receptors exist also. This is why I grow the opium poppy. I believe it to be a spiritual experience when the poppy season comes around.
