I remember reading way back in the thread that someone got Cole Train as one of the UFO freebies. Did a lot of people get that or just a few? Just wondering if anyone who did is growing them out cuz I have a Cole Train from my last order I just sprouted about a week ago. Actually I had 2 but the first one never cracked for me. This time I took some 320 grit sandpaper and lightly scuffed the surface and it cracked 24 hours. Just begining to start its 3rd node and I like the way this plant looks already. The new leaves coming up from the center sort of have a purplish hue to them at first. Does anyone else ever get that feeling about a seedling? Got it with my Ceres Purple too. Just something about the size, shape, and color of certain seedlings that gives me a gut feeling I'm gonna like the way it grows.
 
well i just germed a Motivation, Chronic, and Sour Cream.... Planted them today we will see what happens my sour kush popped the dirt but never lost its shell and died....

Damn sorry to hear about the sour kush thats a kill strain why didnt ya do surgery and save her ?? i do it all the time when the shell is not vacating
 
Yea I ended up getting a Cole Train instead of the Roclock and two Warlocks but no Sour Kush. Prolly stoned order picker lol.

But my Cole Train is just sprouted and I'm looking forward to this grow. My Chronic and Sensi Star are doing rather well also. I think i'm gonna like the Cole Train. But it wouldda been nice to of gotten that Sour Kush I was supposed to get. But oh well free beans are free beans. Gotta love the Tude!!!

i was having the same problem with my sour kush it germed fast sprouted fairly fast but it wouldnt lose it shell i was actually comming on here to ask if anyone else had that problem when i read that it happened to u and it ended up dying. so i just went and got some tweezers and did some surgery on it it took the upper half of the first petals off but i think it will be fine shes looking healthy crossing my finger i hope she survives i want to try this bud so bad
 
Careful with Sensi STar, she never really popped the dirt so after 5 days I went in to the dirt to see what was going on... Turns out she was stuck in the seed pod and 1/2 rotted. So far she is looking like she is going to make it, she is just TINY.

My sour kush did the same exact thing, and my chronic needed some help cracking her shell. But yet all my five of my blueberry plants did just fine and cracked their shell like it was nothing.

my chronic did that, i cracked it open with my nails and it's coming along now, a bit slowly though.

Yeah Cole Train is suppose to be pretty badass (Jasmine x Trainwreck) , especially outside, but it seems like a lot of people been having germ and seedlings problems with it. We'll see what happens. I'm probably gonna take it out the bush in a month or so to finish. Good to see your is doing ok.

My Sensi Star had to literally be pulled out if her shell, half rotted after 5 days and she is now growing like a weed (pun intended) LoL. First time I have ever had a problem with germination and really would have lost her if it had not have been for this board and this thread specifically!

So I guess this is day one for my Freebies all in the soil now and under light.... Boring veg time but im looking forward to watching these ladies blossom

There in 7 liter pots - They look slightly stretched but i have lowered the HPS to keep it at bay. They are tags i got in a gardening set there smaller the popsicle sticks :-)
 
=) pics are lookin good guys!! glad to see the thread starting to get under way as par as actual growing goes and pics. =) cant wait till we're all around week 5/6/7 of flowering... and all posting pics up of all the diff plants adn what not and comparing the size of the buds... frost... red hairs.. smell. etc... gonna e very fun.. and informative!!
 
And here is why I was asking about height earlier..

Todays feature girl is my pride and joy "Rocky" She is 10 days old today! She is a bit on the short side, coming in at just 2 inches tall and although I could be wrong because my first girls were very very stretched I think she is trying to start growing her 4th node! All of her leaves are very very close together so much so that I think maybe I SHOULD stretch her.
