MY little ghetto DWC grows MJ at rate unseen by me before. All I can say about it is explosive! or WOW! Can wait to see what my PJ auto does. I'm thinking of starting all my plants in one. Then transplanting some to containers or earth. The bad thing about my DWC was the 100+ dollars in nutes. The bad thing about auto's as far as I can tell is that any problem will be extremly magnified in yield. No time to fix. Planting 2 Auto Maria in peat pellets today. Will get some more pics of sticky and thumbs today.

1 of the first things my book says is smoking MJ might not be addictive but growing it is. I agree whole heartedly.

Thumbs is a heavywieght.lol. She hasn't got much fatter but has almost caught sticky in height. Thumbs seems to be about 3 to4 days behind sticky. She has started showing signs of the same purpling. They both are covered with trics. These autos my be small but they are producing mass amounts of trics. I am glad I made the last minute decision to order them. They fit my grow cab. perfectly. My next order will probaly be subcool seeds. Querkel and spacequeen. I would already have the Querkel if they hadn't already sold out. Oh well I am loading up for a 10 elbow grow for next summer. Using mostly clones outside. I also hopefully will be able to breed my auto's and have them for next summer also. I sure am having fun with these auto's. They are great!
Awesome man glad to hear all good news. Can't wait to start flowering mine!!! Not sure but they might be getting 2 days o dark starting tomorrow if the new bud sites are looking stong enough. Gotta get some advice. Soo I'll be poisting my video, lemme know what you (and EVERYONE else) thinks, is it time to flip 'em??

I choose the General Hydroponics Flora nova line. Thats what my hydrodude recommended. He said thats what he sells the most of and the growth was unbelievable.
GH also makes a 3 part line that most pros seem to favor over the nova. Other nutes I have seen on this forum that showed good results. Including but not limited to Advanced, dutchmasters, purablend and something called the lucas formula. The advanced and dutchmasters are nutes formulated just for MJ. So they are going to cost more. Not saying they are better are worse just more bucks. Most consist of a Veg and a bloom nute. That would be the 2 white bottles beside the dip and grow. Them 2 are the only ones you need for growth. They were about 27.00 apiece. The cool bloom is a ripening agent at 0-10-10 only added in bloom. another 30.00. The little white bottle of flouricious plus is a organic additive it is 2-0.8-0.02. 20% kelp. That little bottle was 47.00. WOW!!! I am still missing the florablend, Florashield, and flush. I will get the flora blend when I make the one and a half hour drive to the hydrostore to get worm and bat shit. I thought I was saving money. This new hobbie is killing my wallet.

The bottle has directions on strenths. 1/2 tsp. per gallon for seedlings, 1 tsp. per galllon for early growth, 2 tsp. per gallon for later growth, 3 tsp. for aggressive growth. My plants would never see the 3 tsp.'s unless they were 6 feet tall.

Down side to my nutes. You have to shake the hell out them and they're brown. I can't check the PH with my drops because the water is brown. Nova nutes are like a bottle of mud. If you are confident in your water and keep the Ph around 6.0 and a pre ppm around 100-125(enough to buffer your water to avoid huge PH swings) a small DWC that you have to change the nutes every 3 days (when she gets going) a digital PH and PPM meter are not needed but useful.

I saw the nova veg and bloom together on ebay for around 50.00 on ebay.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like. But keep in mind I have only been hydroing for 6 months. All problems I had were created on purpose. It is not very difficult.

natty seems like you like to experiment. Heres something I read in Ed's book that seems interesting.

Plant Tissue Culture Cloning. It seems you can make a rooting jello add plant tissue and make a culture (sourdough starter if you will).
Clones can be produced 5 to 8 per culture EVERY 4 to weeks . Producing unlimted amount of clones. It can also be divided into other cultures which will produce the same amount. all from 1 small cutting. Bye Bye to mother plants. You can also add colchicine or sulfluran to create polyploid plants(bigger and stronger).

Just seemed interesting to me thought I would share.

The book dosen't go in depth enough to pull it off. Will have to do more research. I will post links as I find them.

Hey guys internet is acting a damn fool so I'm gonna try to do this quick.
Here's the next 3 day video. Unfortunately I'm an idiot and didn't take a 2nd video. As I was looking at my plants today I got to thinking that daisy's(the bush) new growth areas are plentiful but they're growing on stretched stems. So I did a bit or pruning to hope that even more light can get inside. I did luckily think to take pics. Anyway I think this is obviously gonna set me back even further on the flip to 12/12 but I think it was for the best. Am I right? Did I do the right thing to ensure maximum buddage??? Anyway here's the video:

They look nice but once I got to looking I could see the stems were weak and stretched so this is the pruning I did:

Looking good. I feel flowers soon. Can you tell any difference in the 2 plants. Look close. Is 1 streching more then the other. A trained eye might be able to spot a male by now. Some people may call bullshit but I know better. I really don't say I know things but this I know.
