I purchased two 1000w hps/mh cool tubes I also built small hydroponic totes with 1" ceramic head foggers, I intend to place a pump with two drip lines each with three total plants on top (see picture)

I have two cabinets which are 25"w x 18"d x 72"h if I mount the lights in here because of the lack of width they would be stationary. I cant get the 6 inch ventilation tubing to go on each side of the cool tube. I guess I want to know if I mount them in that cabinet will I have long leggy plants because of the distance from the light? Or is the 1000w setup enough light to not have to worry about that?

I also have two closets i could use one is 5x3 the other 2x8 I just dont want to lose two closets in my home :-?

So im sitting here :joint: any thoughts?

ok. but again, a 1000 watter in those small cabs , may bleach out your plants. and you are going to have to run tubing and air though those cooltubes because its goona get hot in there.

+rep for white flour a very strait forward solution would be to just sit it atop another tote!!! love it thanks!

eh maybe 2. topping them is going to make them really wide and bushy. just set those cabs side by side and run tubing through them connected to both cooltubes. attach 1 inline fan and exhaust out of the room. gonna be hot air. you also need an exhaust on those cabs to help with heat and bring fresh air in. use the other inline to exhaust both cabs. more than enough for those.

make a passive intake on the bottom near the top of the tub on both sides. you can put black netting to make it a little more light tight.

oh your talking about the exhaust from your cabs. yes tube it of to two outlets. you may be able to find a splitter at a hardware store.

I almost feel bad for using a 1000w light system on those small chambers now... I just want to concentrate on the quality tho, I hope these lights are not over doing it

I plan on reflecting the entire inside of the chamber Im not sure what to use, I got 98% reflective tape at lowes today but not sure what to use for the larger surface areas I need to cover
