Under plant lighting? Does it help?

I was thinking about mounting a couple cfls vertically from the floor of my cab during my SCROG grow. Will this be beneficial?

carnt put to much light on your plants only to much heat
Light saturation.......

Too much light can be over-kill and destroy the plant's natural photosynthsis. Thus bleaching the plants and causing major problems. But on the flip side if you can and have enough space and its just to suppliment the light you already have then its not a bad idea. Just move the lights around under the canopy every day so that it spread's the amount of extra light for each plant....

You could, and it may have good results. Let us know :D

Right now I just do a partial harvest (cut the tops), and afterwards I let the bottom buds get some direct light. After a few days they get a bit bigger and more dense, and are ready for harvest.

Alot of people just cut the bottom branches in a sog grow (lollipopping), but Im more than grateful for the extra bud that they give up =)

I have a small full spectrum floro set to light underside of plants and have seen that the underside of my plants are just as healthy as the canopy, so I'd have to say yes it does help.

I got tired of messing with hydro, and decided to do a soil grow indoors this summer. I have the room and the extra lights to do what kysmoker was talking about. I am stagger planting so that I can harvest every 2 to 3 weeks. So I need to keep adding plants to the flower room. It might get a little tight in there, but it would be nice to have those extra buds to throw in the jars.
