I just replaced the plastic fork with a bamboo skewer and LSTed the other three Short Rider.
Theses are planted in a 9' x 9' x 8" grow box at the end of my front yard, I am going to have these plants grow along the soil surface throughout the whole grow if I can keep them low enough.

Not trying to be mean or anything like that at all..... Just throwin out some info so you can narrow it down. But I will GUARENTEE you that is not Pineapple Express! lol, I've got a buddie growing a few P.E.'s and they look NOTHING like that... Well, not the 6 P.E. plants that saw anyways. Just throwin out my $0.02. Still very pretty plants!
hooked it could be a differnet pheno ro from a different breeder but since he doesnt know for sure i think it would be best to be called bagseed or a made up name that he may have.

alright my buds went into the jars today the branches are still bendy cuz thtas just how i do it to ensure a very slow dry. i am guestimating i will get 2-2 1/2 ozs when its completely dry. each one of my jars fits and oz give or take a few grams comfortably so threee jars is about 3 ozs. but i think 2 and a half is more like it. my other plant is gonna produce way more i am choppin her to morrow cuz i just want to hurry up and finish so i can get the outdoor goin. will post pics tommorow.
here is some almost completey dry shishkaberry it smells so good. not even like weed at all more like just a berry it taste so fuckin good to i wish i could share smells and smoke with some of you peeps on here but i cant. heres the pics

Hello everyone! This's my first grow and i've been looking into the technique for about a week now so today i decided to try it. I'm pretty sure i did everything right and it was really easy to do but i wanted to post some pics on here to see if anyone had any thoughts on what i have done so far. any thoughts that could help me out or point out what i'm doing wrong and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. this's just a bagseed plant and i'm sorry for the poor quality of the pics. i did the best i could with the camera i have (cell phone.lol) Photo001.jpgPhoto_04.jpgPhoto000.jpg any help please?

looks good stoup, man u really tied her down looks good to for your first lady tied down. doesnt seem your doin anything wrong at the moment either its lookin great. just remember to try to keep the main shoot u lsted the same hieght as the other lower branches or it will get alottaller but its not bad if it does just a thought. and dont be sorry for the poor pics on here bro. i used camera phone pics for the first few months on here and still do somtimes when y other cam is dead. she does look a bit lanky though, what type of light are u usin and how close to the tops is it

Totally agree with MC on this 'stoup' Your plant looks quite healthy and you did a good job bending. But just like MC said, she does look slightly stretched. Maybe if your using some sort of flourescent lighting you could get them closer to the plant?... Just a thought, you'll be much happier with the end product if you can get them nodes a bit closer together. :)

now that i look at it yea i think its kinda lanky to compared to everyone else's i see on this site. i think it has something to do with when they were seedlings and my inexperience at the time. before they grew they're first leaves the were bout 6 to 8 inches tall and falling over. i later found out it was a lack of light that caused the stretching and no fan to strengthen the stems but i finally figured that out and got it all fixed. i ended up having to rebury them two different times to get the stretching somewhat under control.lol but that's okay cause this's still my first grow and i'm learning alot from it. also this's the tallest of my five plants. it grew twice as fast as a couple of the others. i'm growing in miracle grow potting soil and i don't add any nutrients other that miracle grow to the water when its time so i don't think it should have anything to do with nutrients if nutrients would make a difference??(in theory i would think so??)... now my lighting may be kinda lacking (its all i can afford right now tho). i do have flourescents as 'hookd' guessed (good guess by the way.lol) its just a two bulb shop fixture too. i have been looking for maybe a 4 bulb fixture of the same kind but the prices are a little more than i wanna pay at the moment. i would like to find some good used ones but they seem to be kinda hard to come by unless they are no good at all! i plan on investing in some T5 8 bulb lights in the future (that will be nice :) :) ) but i'll most likely have to wait till next time. :( i do have to say i have kept the lights as close as possible. i have kept them almost touching the lights if not actually touching except for the couple that aren't growing as tall but i have been doing my best with those too. would there be anymore ideas of what i may be able to do to slow the stretching? and by the way thanks for the info so far!! it has defenilty been help and brought the stretching to my attention. i really like this site. most people seem to be very polite and helping. also i can post some more pics and provide more info if needed. by the way very nice buds you got there MC it looks like its some good shit!!!lol

Ok, here's some better pics of my three ladies in flower. Have been flowering now for 19 days. All LST'd to shit while vegging, and even a little in flower just so they don't outgrow my closet. The first week of flower they really took off!! They're all under one 400w HPS with a custom wide hood I made. GH Flora series for nutes, coco for potting medium, in 3.5gl bags.

The Garden:

The Frisian Dew. This one always grows pretty stringy and lenky, but the end buds are always magical (see bud pic in avatar):

The White Widow.. Thick and bushy, I love this plant:

The Master Kush.. One of my fav's, always a big producer:

LST FO' LYFE! hahaa :D

i have one more question. how often should i keep maintenance up on tying and retying the strings or will it depend on the growth speed and what i prefer? what is the recommendation or "rule of thumb" here?

Bro it is absolutely and completely up to you! That is what's so great about LST, you do whatever you want really, just try and limit the training to veg, and when your going to flower just let her grow is what I'd say. I usually tie down the 'main' shoots so they grow out to the side of the pot and then up toward the lights.

You can pretty much un-tie and re-tie as much as you want to, to get the plant in the 'shape' that you want to. Since it isn't REALLY hurting the plant. Like fimming or topping or supercropping would. I prefer to tie down and at least wait untill the tied down branches start growing nicely towards the light.

All in all, IMO, it's what you perfer dog. Just have fun with it.

it was super lemon haze the overall cannabis cup winner and the sativa winner (last year I think.) Crossed with some super bad ass high-yield indica I forgot what strain. Its been going around clone only for a while where I live.
