Hey peeps, thanks for checkin this out. Im trying to perfect a feeding schedule for these girls and im having a hard time with it. These poor girls have been through hell!! I keep loosing old growth. The first time was nute burn, so i flushed and started again....now the new growth is showing signs of burn, but the light green suggests a deficiancy. I don't know any more. Im getting Confused and frustrated. Can someone please take a look and tell me if this is a sign of over fertilization or under fertilization?

I am using promix hd soil and AN iguana juice grow.
250 MH about 12" above plants and its on 24/7.
temp is 77-80* and RH is 50%.
Great airflow.

Thanks again,
JJB

Looks underfed to me..

The leaves look pale..first sign that it is nitrogen deficient.

Thank you, im thinking the same thing....im too afraid of burning them I think.

I just watered with plain water this morning, so i guess I should wait till nxt watering to boost up the nutes?

dude, they look fine to me.. They need a little, and i stress little, Nitrogen... Just dont over do it ..

wtf closetgrowth u growing in ur toilet..lmfao... ;) probably the first time that has ever been done :)

look at the spots on the leaves in the second pic... these are from under fert? And should i feed them now or wait until they are in need of water again?

The new growth looks nitrogen deficient. As for the larger leaves - when you damage the plant, it stays that way. The leaves coming in at the growing tip, don't have those spots. (Not from the pics anyway). She looks a tad overwatered, as well.

ya missed that.. looks like a possible mg/ca deficency to me.. but im not that great at identifying, may wanna get a 2nd opinion...

im going to have to disagree with u on that one.. Usually a deficency or a burn will slowly kill the bottom leaves and then work its way up the leave sets.. in my experience..

I'll partially agree with that - but some deficiencies don't kill the bottom sets first.:peace:

hmmm.. I guess that may just be true with burns? I dunno, I havent had to deal with either this grow so Im kinda rusty on that type of stuff..

they may be ALITTLE cal-mag deficence but nothing that cant be turned right around..also if its not to hot for the plants to do so you might want to lower your light to around 8 or 10 inchs.. and yes possble of over watering them ..

Thanks for all the help people, I really appreciate it. I will up the dose of Iguana juice. I was using the AN nute calculator but i guess its not enough..... the bottle reads 3.5ml/l so maybe ill go half strength of that?

The spots are appearing pretty fast, should I feed them now or will that do more harm in moisture stress? Also, since everyone is being so helpful, how long should i wait b4 i upcan? just b4 flowering?

Thanks again,
JJB.

I'd wait till next watering.. or at least till it dries up a bit..
When to flower depends on a number of factors. I would say you have at least a couple weeks though...

have you been feeding the hole time ?have you flused at all? if not after it drys flush it out good and start over on feeding at half strength.. the leaves are curling up like tacos when this happen to me it was because i had a build up in my dirt.. but then again it could be something else.

I ment when should i replant into bigger pots....
I plan on veging for at least 2 more weeks.. I would like to start flower at 12'" tall or so.

Thanks,
JJB

Sounds good. Ya you can transplant right now if you want, anytimes fine... Just water b4 and after transplanting to help prevent shock..

You can transplant any time. Hell, I've transplanted my girls as week old seedlings into their 3 gallon final homes, they love it - lots of root space!

Yes, i have been feeding. I have been feeding according to the advanced nutrient calculator. I am in 3rd week of veg and it says to feed 5.2 ml/4L once a week. the bottle says 3.5ml/L. I have been watering every 2 days and enough water to get runoff from pots.
