I average 30 to 40% dry. It varies some, but not too much. Most times closer to 40%. To tell the truth, I dont usually weigh the wet stuff any more. I can guess pretty close by looking now.

hi all thanks for input, how long intill it gets to the dry stage? 12 days or so?? thanks

i think it depends on where you live, temperature, humidty, but around 4-7 days to dry, then another 7 minimum to cure.

good rule of thumb is when you can smoke a joint and it stays lit. the longer you cure, the better it will taste and smell.

Then you're smoking wet shit or your stuff has seeds. 15 - 20% if its dried right.

Actually, if you grow dense heavy buds your percentage is higher than airy loose buds. I dont grow weed with seeds either. So keep trying, maybe you can learn to get that percentage up a little.

Density has nothing to do with anything, are you saying there is water in the air pockets of buds?

And just to ease your mind........

Tyke was on the money with 15 to 20%. This is what I have consistently ended up with over my last three harvests. For example, i cut my Island Sweet Skunk down 7 days ago and yielded 18oz wet, mildly trimmed and not many stems. It now weighs out to just under a qp.
