Guerrilla Grow 2010, Let's do it!

Good Luck to all you Outdoor Guys this year. I love the outdoor guerrilla game, but my shit has gotten stolen every time I've tried around here, and no one ever even knew any of the times. Just shitloads of potheads roaming around everywhere, I guess. Sucks to do all that work only to not get any reward for it after all that time. Still, I would love to have a good secure place to be able to do it this season, just none around here.

Anyway, I wish you guys the best of luck, and hopefully the seasons will bring a massive harvest of Dank Nugs for you all. :weed::peace:
Dang that sucks Long Bonger! Yea that has not happened to me yet, only because I do it on a friends property and they dont smoke, so it's all my own keep. Maybe one day we wont have to do the Gurilla thing and be able to pitch a green house out the front door full of lil Ganja princess's, You can also get the strains that tend not to stay green, rarely will people steal it if it looks lke a maple tree. Gotta love the old farts around my plants, all of them planted young maples and most blend in like a charm!

the bandit here, and I am going to be an out door grower. Question has anybody here tried to force flower the ladies, i.e. putting a bag over them around 12 hours in the day ? i think its worth a try

My advice is to just let them grow naturally, just check them frequently. the middle of spring will throw them into flowering, so be patient!

hey pothead funny I was looking for thread about guerilla growing and I also live in michigan and am growing guerilla style as well. This will be my 4th year as a grower and second season outdoors last year I started out with 30 plants that weren't the best genetics and ended up paying for it. At the end of the season some plants werent fully mature by the time it got cold and just didnt fit our climate I ended up with 14 plants due to weather, males, and bad placing. I put half in an area where I knew they'd get water all year and we got a ton of rain needless to say they were over watered and only 3 master kush plants actually made it to their full potential producing about 150 grams per plant. all in all I cropped about 3 lbs that I had to share with one other person.

Which brings me to a point. MY MISTAKES

I would highly recomend buying strains that are high end genetics and are fully mature by the end of september, this way weather permitting you can let them go past their 8 weeks into october. My main mistake last year was thinking that it wouldnt be too cold in mid october but I was quite wrong, see plant growth slows at 50F and anything below 40F it completly shuts down and can harm new growth and soft tissue alot of times in michigan we get snow by holloween or its aleast in the low 40s-50s. I also made the mistake of buying liquid nutrients now this isnt a big problem if you can get to your crop 2 times a week, I could my partner was just a puss and I needed him to get there it was off his property, but I never made it there enough to properly use the nutes which where the complete techna flora line for veg( not the best nutes but did the job for small indoor grows) and sensi bloom from advanced with carboload and big bud..This grow was a last minute thing and I really had no money my seeds where from KC Brains and were like 20$ for 10 reg I also had master kush from white label which were a little better but the genetics still where pretty bad. I didnt prepare at all and relly didnt scout but once for a quick second...bad idea..and my yeild and end result as well as complications I had showed lack of preperation. The only good thing I got out of last year was a single feminized strawberry cough from dutch passion. This plant I kept at my own house and took very good care of her she was lst'd to keep her conceled and was my prized personal that I actually just smoked the last of a month ago.

This year I'm planning to crop out and move to cali! So I need the cash to make it there and I'm going all out. Heres my plan:
While learning from my mistakes last year I spared no expense and bought the best genetics and nutes I could. I went with greenhouse seeds Great white shark this strain is a very heavy yeilder outdoors and is fully mature at 8 weeks at the end of september hopefully I can let her go a full nine weeks my buddy got white rhino from greenhouse as well which is around the same done in september and yeilds big. As for nutes I went with advanced nutrients new(I think its new) heavy harvest -spring, -summer, & -fall. This is an all-in-one time release nutrient that comes in three phases one for each of the seasons I chose this so I dont need to nute every other day just once a week at the most, to go along with that I also went with piranha and turantula which contain microbes and benifecial fungi for great soil life and happy roots! carboload to feed the microbes and fungi, voodoo juice agian to make monster fuzzy roots, because the bigger your roots the more nutes a plant can take up and the bigger it will grow, and finally big bud agian because it made such a noticable difference in bud size and weight nd amount of bud sites the nutrients alone cost 400$ plus another 300$ in seeds.

So in march I plan to go scout out my plots and as soon as the ground is thawd out enough dig my holes about 3ft wide x 4-5ft deep and place a pound of alfalfa hey at the bottom of my holes this will attract worms and alfalfa is very high in nitrogen. you could place an entire bale under the soil and feed a plant pretty much all year. The worms will eat the hey and produce worm castings and make a very rich soil but since I'm supplementing with nutes I'm only using a pound of hey instead of 10. After this I'm also going to add a bag of perlite or verm to the soil to help keep it loose and airy, plus some polymer crystals just incse the rains dont come. I'll be starting all the seedlings indoors at least a month and a half before its time to go outside this was another mistake from last year, I had started them only a few weeks earlier than normal and put them out when they were about 6-8 inches tall and since it was fresh holes the animals came to see what they could dig up as well and destroyed a few of my plants. This year I hope to have little bushes about 1.5-2 feet tall before there out in the woods alone this is the difference between LBS and OZ's on plants.

Other than that it's pretty much same ol shit get out there as much as I can without being noticed and grow some monster bushes to pay my way to cali where I can get payed legally to do what I love.

I'll keep you updated I hope this log goes for a long time for all the ppl in michigan even though our laws suck right now they'll get better we need to just keep pushing for the right to medicate!

few pics from last year

Hey Klo$etbreeder, nice to see another Michigander on here!
You made alot of good points regarding guerrilla growing in Michigan and i thank you for the first hand knowledge. This will be my first outdoor grow this year and i have high hopes for a successful season. I too plan on leaving here and heading to a more liberal location, I just havent settled upon where yet. After living most of my life here I am just fed up and ready for a change.:wall:
But before that can happen I gotta make some cash and that is hopefully what this coming season will do, along with give me a nice supply of some killer smoke in the process. I know there are going to be some struggles and setbacks but I think I am ready for them, or at least as ready as countless hours upon hours of researching the internet regarding marijuana cultivation can make a person. I have done some indoor growing in the past but nothing compared to the magnitude of what I have planned for this years outdoor grow. I am devoting myself completely to this grow and I hope I am rewarded with a bountiful harvest for my efforts. :weed:
My main concern is having enough time in our Michigan season. I will be starting my plants indoors as well but due to my current living situation I cannot have them indoors for more than 2 weeks before I will have to put them out. I am taking a risk starting them indoors where im living to begin with but I can keep things stealthy enough to give me a two week head start on the season. We'll see how things work out. I will start a grow journal when I begin.
Good luck to you bro and to all us Guerrilla's!!!
P.S. Those are some nice pic's, looks like you didn't do too bad.

Wow, pothead ur grow sounds a lot like mine... first time all organic outdoor guerilla grow....dude i no how u feel. I just wanna stop talkin bout this shit and germinate my seeds! Michigan huh how long of a frost window u got out there? Im LSTing all my plants in various locations, still weighin the options...Good shit for makin this thread i have so many Qs

I have a few questions for anybody who is knowledgable and kind enough to answer...First off im going to LST my plants from a young age so that they (hopefully) snake along the ground and keep below the tall grass and shrubs etc. Will doing this make my plants more vulnerable to pests and disease since almost the entire plant mite be laying very close to the ground? Are there ANY problems involved with LSTing like this?
Also, i have been doing A LOT of reading on this, but Soil is still hazy...
If i add things to my soil mix before i plant like bone meal, blood meal, etc...does this mean if i put more nutes in the soil that i have to fertilize less once theyre in the ground? THanx for helpin a noob

i think first according to the outdoor grow section in the Growers bible is to check your soil levels. i.e. go to a nusery and buy the npk test kits.. scratch that first is to get a book and read on up on the section. i went to borders and they had the big book of buds three, growers bible, and grow buds for 8 oz for 50 dollars.

thats my two cents. but most books out here is for indoor growers. but the good thing about growiing outdoors is that a lot of food is grown outdoors.

Yeah ive been planning on gettin one of those when i get paid.....my gf got some sour diesel X romulan today, we found a big old dark tigerstripe seed in there...pretty stoked...if we found only one seed in a big ass nug does that mean that it got fertilized just a little by a male or wat? Does this mean its a hermy?or is this lone seed better because of its singularity?

16 days till spring....

I am going to try and plant a few of my plants that i started under CFLs outside. I found a dope little spot and i am using the whole "i'll put money here and see if anyone takes it" plan to see if anyone will be snooping around. I wont be using 30 seeds or anything probably just 3 or 4 but its better then just throwing them away.
its kinda just for shits and giggles.

i got a FOAF that already has 12 inch babies in a field somewhere and they are healthy as could be even with all the recent rain and thundershowers here in nor cal. My FOAF is expecting 15-20 foot monsters by late september -early october.

quick outdoor questions

what happens if i just dig a hole and fill it up

with good soil? without putting plastic bags in them or anything like that? will this affect the roots as other plants will be growing around it?

can the choppers really detect plants with heat? seems kinda far fetched. where i live there is a chopper and planes flying all summer, not sure though what theyre doing

thanks rep of course

people should only purchase seeds online if they can't get bagseeds. all u gotta do is grow a bunch of diff bagseeds and breed the two best plants and wat do ya know many seeds of dank goodness!

dig a huge hole and fill with dank soil, and no, marijuana plants don't give off anymore heat than other plants. If they did, i don't think very many people would be successful at all.

you can type in guerilla growing under google and get endless supply of guerilla growing info man... and you should try to plant two or three plants here and two or three plants there several yards away from each other near trees and make it blend with the landscape so your shit wont be detected from above... it makes it a whole lot harder than just putting a row of green bitches out in the wide open ... sure you wont get as much of a yield if you get partial shade but you wont get your whole fucken crop cut and yanked in august either...

couldn't have said it better myself, but i would space further than a few yards, more like 50-60 feet to be extra safe. #1 rule in guerrilla growing is better to be safe than sorry!
