My second grow, these pics are from day 21 from seed. You can't really see the LST that well because of the fan leaves, but pic 2 shows some nice new branches :)

I started this plant with tying it down and using LST, but I decided to just use the screen after the plant was already trained down. The second pic is the plant in the first pic when it was veggin.

Here are my topped plants at about 6 weeks, nirvana ak48 and nl , only just starting lst to keep an even canopy, got a bit heavy handed and split the top shoots at the node... shit. Hope they heal they r kinda just dangling there at the moment. Put duct tape on them after the picture.

Also tied all the shoots down a little and outwards. Is this lst? plan on veging for another week. Hope they start to fill out more. Think next time im gonna lst after a week and turn the main stem round the pot like in that lst diagram. looks awsome, Great pics on this thread and very good info:blsmoke:

to bad about the male but thats usally how it works, the best biggest plant is male. i wouldnt keep the male though unless u want seeds from your females. and im on my way to check your journal right after this:bigjoint:

Fimm'D at 4 weeks veg, LST'ed at 6 weeks. 8 tops were formed from FIM ?!!?, and the top two shoots were tied to the side to create a flat canopy... now at 3 weeks flowering, How does she look? Bagseed....

thats a cool little screen plant u got goin their how old is it
I started the Sour Diesel x Cheese(Cheesel) alittle after the other plant like on 12/18/09 and it started flowering on 1/16/2010 with 12/12 from seed. So it is around 65 days old and 33 days flowering, I think.

dam sancho those are some big beutiful ladies u got. nice job and plus rep for you, is that just one plant in the first pic, and how do u water them with out getting nutes on them i find it hard to water with nutes when lsting if u dont leave a nice gap for a watering hose or somthin
thanks MC!! yup thats single plants in the first 3 pics, my tent is the 4th pic, Its funny you should mention watering/feeding, Im getting my ass kicked with my tent being too full, getting it done takes trying to be a contortionist and a shop vac to collect runoff. Ive got 6 dirt plants and a DYI NFT in the back, I had to put zipper access in each tent wall to feed/water.

How many watts is the LED in the corner of your room and what type of success are you getting from it?
If your talking about the one in the corner of my tent its a 126w, Im using everything for my first time so i have limited knowledge and out of respect for MC I wont waste space on his thread. Ive found you can spend alot of time reading pros and cons of LED and still not have a black/white answer, Its still grey for me.

Pretty girls man! I like the first pic! LST is the shiznit! I'd personally stay square, just because it's easier to fit square pots closer together for your setup. I'm lookin for some square pots at the moment actually... hahaha, I'm getting sick of these round ones, not very efficient space wise...
here is a link for a place with some good square pots ... I think this is where my hydro store gets them ... not these exact ones although i have a few of these ..
the ones i have now have holes on the edges (i think they're made for hydro but meant for both) But they are an awesome addition for lsting ..no need to try and find a diy place to anchor for the most part.
I just got the 9x9.
it was that or the 12x12 but i could see them being way too big once i start flowering
anyways heres the like ....thanks bro.

LST harvest! Full details in journal in sig. (Pg 18, i think) Rhinowreck bagseed.

Total wet weight 80.9 grams off 11 "colas" (havent harvested or weighed popcorn nugs)

Here's my kids. Blueberry x AK47 clones I got off another patient in CO. Started flowering them right off when they were at about 4 nodes. They are about 2 weeks in right now, under 138 watts of 2,700k CFL's in an enclosed light fixture. Temperature is at a constant 74-75 degrees, and 64 degrees with fans on at night. Just started giving them light nutes. LST started days ago, adjusted and added a few more lines today, really excited about the even canopy I seem to be achieving. This is a hobby grow, I just don't have the space to do it at the level I used to be able to, for now. This summer, look for something a bit more substantial...

Hey man, good to see you came to the dark side! haha, anyways. LST is the shiz!

Just a thought here, I can't tell completely from the pix, I'd be a little careful on the stems that low to the dirt tho. I usually do a counter tie, so that when I bend her over there isn't ANYTHING tugging on or putting any sort of presssure on the roots. Only because I, personally, feel that just bending the stem where it goes into the soil is a risky deal... Accidents can happen, and it's just smarter to do a counter tie IMHO!

The girls look good, not doggin on you in anyway at all here man, just a suggestion. I bet your gonna love the LST! :hump:

i agree with the counter tie just to be safe. also i usally start tieing down when the plants are in their final pots. other wise u have to untie transplant and then retie. just a suggestion
