You know slab I did the same thing with the sulfuric acid. I still hyave a gallon mixed up and alot of acid left. Ive never used it because even though my tap water is around 8 when I add the nutes it drives the pH down to around 5-6. For soil I use 6.5 as my set point so Ive always had to add pH up not down; hence Ive never used pH down. That is a lot cheaper! I paid 10.99 for a quart of each. You'll have more money in the h2o than the acid but the time your done. In a few months when out of of the ph down I'll probably look into to this again. Got any recipes for ph up?
Always busy! Keep it up!
How early can you put them outside safely?
Thanks guys, I hear ya on the $$$. I don't mind paying top dollar for good tools and equipment but if I can save lots of cash in other areas it helps. I found about pH down. That is a lot cheaper! I guess my nute package isn't so acidic or something. It will drop my ph about .5 from the high 7.9's so I've still been needing to go down. You might be right about the creek water though especially with full strength nutes. Good thing I have a meter now.You know slab I did the same thing with the sulfuric acid. Like I said I wonder what your source creek water is? Unless its very basic, you wont need that pH down once you add nutes.
Very nice nursery again. What are you going to do when its time to transport all those plants to their homes? That will take some time me thinks.
I was thinking the same thing driving around with a bunch of bushes in your truck. IDK slab I would clone and sex instead of sex the main plants and then revert. You always stress them when you do that.Awesome Grow Slabhead! You make me feel like a TOTAL amateur.......and well ....hell.....I am! LOL!!!
Man I don't know if this shitty weather will ever break. Tornadoes last month, first snow since 2003 when I was heading to a foo fighters show. Now the ground is too saturated to dig any holes. idk, this indoor shit is kinda nice. haSo you're gonna be putting these outside whenever this shitty weather disappears?... just wondering because 1) damn that's a lot of plants to be hauling around and 2) they will be monsters by then.
Howdy there Mr Leafy, just take your time and you'll get it. Thanks for visiting and you're welcome to hang out. There's always something going on.Awesome Grow Slabhead! You make me feel like a TOTAL amateur.......and well ....hell.....I am! LOL!!!
I'll be mixing up some stronger nutes next time so I'll see what it is. I've only been at half strength and 3/4 strength so far since the soil seems to be holding it's own. Last watering was just plain water anyway so they should be ready for some.I was thinking the same thing driving around with a bunch of bushes in your truck. Also you dont want a bunch of male clones either. Just take one clone of each unsexed plant , flip them once they are rooted and look for balls and hairs. Maybe a 1 month process. Then you can clone the good cuts and dump the rest. I cant believe you are running low already.
If your pH is lowered by only 0.5 you need to up the strength. Now Im talking about full strength grow and bloom and not clone or seedling strength.
Those babys are looking good Slab! You are doing a great job indoor. Hope you got a lot of fems goin on in there. My seed popping is getting close. I am getting excited as the new season begins.

I don't worry about things like that. I've moved full size plants around in 5 gal buckets before. Just lay them down gently if ya have to or bend the tops over if they aren't that tall. I'm more worried about deer and hogs getting them.

Well I went ahead and flipped them a couple of days ago to 12/12. I've id'd 11 so far and new ones are showing every day. I had originally wanted to do the clone then sex but I just needed the room. If I can thin out 10 or 15 or more I'll be able to revert the ones I want to keep then pull clones straight to 18/6. That way I'll have more light available for the girls w/o wasting it on males. I might set a couple males aside for some hanky panky after I'm done cloning. I figure 7 to 10 days will show me the majority of them. And any that haven't sexed by then I can keep a better eye on.So here's what inside looks like as opposed to the opening pic.check out that Jack's High catching up with the JTR...anyone need a Violator kush male??? I might These stems are already the size of my little finger <and I got big hands>
Thanks GT, yeah I bet you are getting excited. I'm having fun too but the smell is sure getting strong already. haThose babys are looking good Slab! You are doing a great job indoor. this spring is going to be very fun and eventful.
Looking great slab!! You got a pretty good ratio of males to females, that should be plenty of women to keep you busy for the summer!
That shit would have made my heart skip a beat! I'm glad the man did fuck with ya! It sounds like you got a good dog, always watching for the man! lol
Are you almost ready to clone?

I am just finishing up with the VK myself. I am week 9 1/2 right now and they are still going strong. I think it might be another 1 - 1 1/2 weeks left. I'll be wathcing. CHeck out my signature. I got a poll of what I should grow next. 10 Options and I am going with 5 so I need which ones you all would pick. I will be journaling the whole thing.Hey there cph, good to have you here.
I'll be putting together my bubblebox cloner pretty soon. Thank you for the knowledge. I got a dark blue tub & lid and air stones but need some neopreem collars and an air pump. Still a little ways from needing it just yet.
I'm gonna start some more beans tomorrow. I feel like starting some Dairy Queen and Jack-The-Ripper . I'm expecting great things from subcool's seeds. Still can't believe I snatched them early on Black Friday Sale for just $45 per 10 pack.
