Yes - but it would take some processing. In Asia human waste or 'night soil' is used as fertilizer. This is usually done with plants that must be cooked before eating, though.

Because human feces can carry bacteria that could be transmitted while handling your plants, I highly recommend processing the waste first.

The easiest way would be to use a composting toilet. These toilets incinerate the waste, leaving perfectly safe ashes for you to use.

I'd recommend saving any unheated human waste for plants that you will not eat.

fecal matter from any meat eating being is not to be used. piss can be used tho, make sure you dilute it if/when you use it

um, yea dude there are many other ways to go green...

playing with your shit is kinda nasty.

wont benefit a grow, people eat too much nasty shit. its not like we live off of grass or a high fiber diet of hay. it will probably kill your plant.

and if it doesnt, it will probably kill you.

totally gross...
totally stupid..

Yeah human feces is a bad idea. Urine can be used as stated before. Most soils use animal crap...buts that's from cattle, worms, seabirds and bats. Big difference.

I did read an article in High Times once about a breeder who uses what he calls "guppy-ponics" though. He has fish tanks all around and kind of uses them as res's for a drip system (I think thats how it was setup anyway, been some years since I read that). Read a part in there where he threw a half eaten hamburger to a tank of Oscars. That's about as close as I would get to putting any kind of carnivores fecal matter into my grow.

Dont use human feces. Even if you're a vegetarian, you've still got some nasty stuff in you for dealing with meat. Humanure is usually composted for a year, and even then is only fed to trees in a forest. I know a really backwoods off the grid guy that would never think of using humanure for his veg garden. And he's as resourceful as they come.

Waste plants sell treated human feces. There are waste plants that spray fields, there are plants that dry the manure but it is usable and it is the food we eat all the time. It can be done but its a pain. Are you a diligent kind of person who's going to mix well and wait till its ready. Meat has nothing to do with it. Everybody loves bat shit, most bats eat bugs not fruit, you know meat, chickens eat anything but we love chicken shit. It just takes longer to break down. Personally I'm not lugging around a bucket of my own shit (not yet anyway) and turning it over and over. I have other natural supplies for my compost with out shitting in a bucket.
