overdose on LSD and have mental problems

My freind (hes a big man bout 5'12" and 220 pounds) he is into heavy drugs but besides the point; he took aroung 3 sheets of acid (took 1 first didint think it would do anthing took the rest)for the first time, and ended up getting aressted latter that night for asault on anouther person in a bar then i didnt get many more details excepet he whent to a metal hospital now suffers from flashbacks into the acid trip and has been diagnosed as a schizophrenic. could all that have been coused by to high of a dose of lsd?

three sheets or tabs? i assume you mean tabs because three sheets an inconceivable amount of acid, i dont think anyone would doubt that there tripping off one sheet.

I was 16, 5'6, 150 lbs and took 3 drops fresh from the vile. I was tripping balls for 10 hours, had a horrible tripe because some dicks were fucking up my high by randomly shouting and scaring me. I seen dragons, snakes, I got lost in the front yard for over an hour. looked in the mirror and my face was melted.

the next day. I laughed it all off. I knew I was high. No matter how crazy shit got, or how weird I felt. I knew I was on acid and I never felt in danger of anything. Its been over 10 years, no flash backs, no traumatic memories. And I'd do it one more time if I could manage to get my hands on some.

1 tab = like 12hrs trip man, 5 1/2 up 1hr peek then another 5 1/2 down. (well thats common, sure not exacts i used to dose like mad back when i was a teen :/ ) anyways if hes in a ment hosp then it wasn't 1 tab & or he did something stupidly fucked up and now playing the crazy lsd card. who knows, but 1 tab don't see it happening. taken A LOT myself in the past and if he's institutionalized after 1 hit then he must of had a screw wiggling loose anyways.

Not saying this is not true, depending on age, previous encounters, family etc his current lock-down in the mental ward may be a family intervention. Best to let the man just work his issues out and get the help he needs

Without a test kit and a psychological exam..

1) You can not say it was LSD (as it could be many rc's)
2) He could have already had a personality disorder
3) The other "heavy drugs" he used may have caused it

I have no idea about LSD, but have taken way to many Mexican Cubensis mixed with vodka shots and a heavy smoking session, I dont have flash backs and I didnt see any crazy things like snakes etc... I saw things like the walls and ceiling moving in and out like they were breathing, I had a super dry tongue and felt like i was going to swallow it, my dick shrunk...(only for 18hrs approx), its normal again now thank fuck, but I couldn't piss at all as much as i wanted/needed to I couldnt. I felt over consious of heights of things, but anyway as far as after effects go..... I have hardcore anxiety attacks which I now take medication for (lorazepam 5mg) when ever i feeling it creep up on me, tell tale signs.. sweaty hands aching muscles in my forearms, dizzyness, and i cant look at bright colours, I never had them before the shrooms,smoke and booze day, but am paying for it now! am way better thanks to my meds.. i used to take the meds daily but now i can go a couple of weeks so i hope ill cure myself over time - STELTHY

im not sure i understand what you want to hear but if some people are unstable in the first place yes lsd can trigger mental problems and that many yes of course but really your friend should of been ok a few days later

Hey I had trips that took realy long to process and "get over" on acid. Just give him time.
The longest I have seen this is 3 years, after a friend took 14 hits of acid.

Some people do have brain chemistry that does not make psycedelics a viable healthy option for them, some people can't eat peanuts. I also don't realy do shrooms that often anymore aither, it makes me a little nuts... Not bad nuts, but obesive about negleted things.... not a nice headspace but healthy in terms of what I become aware of.

P.S. if he says he saw snakes and dragons, I believe him, I have seen much more on LSD, so much so that I don't realy talk about it.

i have schizophrenia and no - you cannot get it from taking acid - it is a hereditary condition meaning one of your parents have it.. taking acid with this condition can make it apparent to other people that you need help because you act especially weird on it.. then some people get diagnosed and treated..

Ya, I have tested it but again have not done it in a long time so. But who I used to get it from went to school at a local college ya know. But again this was quite some time ago but blotter is blotter.
