How long does it take for an N def to right itself after feeding?, REP

It'll take a few days. But make sure to not give it more nute's than it needs. Water normally as per usual and watch her closely. If you see any bad changes then let us know.

Well depending on the size of your pots maybe not. But consider this. Your in flowering stage not in Veg. you want some nice faaaat buds not plant growth so honestly you dont need Nit. Of course you will have to feed it nit in small amounts so the plant doesnt get any serious diseases its not really that much of a deal. Something high in phosphate and low in nit will do good. Fatten up your buds and all that. THE THING IS. If your plant isnt strong enough to hold the weight, you need your plant to "fatten up". It all depends.

thats what I thought a bloom feeding would do, just enough N to bring her around..

would have thought if I wait a while longer to water there will be no burn as watering again would release more of the nutes I'm a noob oh well

thanks for the info bro

Nah, dont wait to water your plants. You might lose a few nute's in the run off but thats all good. Because if your using bloom (which i know for a fact is extremely high in %) They dont need the concentrated dose. waiting to water WILL cause burn. :) Good growing. Hope you get some good lucious buds dude.

300ppm is not that much AT ALL during flowering. And normally bloom nutes have a higher P and K not so much N (nitrogen) which is needed to restore the nice green look. The bad leaves will most likely (but not always) not get better but new growth will. Im in my first week of flower and Im feeding 900ppm. Given I have a strain thats a heavy feeder so it varies from strain to strain but my recommendation would be to up you ppm with both veg and bloom nutes. Or get some form of seaweed nute, they usually have a high N content

You know what? Fuck that. You want an overall balance for your plant. Get compost. Then you wont have to worry. Your buds will be happy and so will your plant.

And whatever you do. DO NOT OVERDOSE YOUR PLANT. obviously some people think its rather ok to just up the dosage but its not. Seriously thats a shock to the roots. Your plant suffers from it. Avoid giving more than needed. Obviously unless someone looks at your plant and how big your pots are they wont know the correct dosage.

the plant is only 19 days old though..

Oh ya give a good flush first then feed with a higher N content. Forgot about the flush part. Especially if your in soil
I am thinking the N content in the bloom nutes will be enough..

well how do I tell if they need feeding again I can't keep waiting for deficiancies before I feed..

Well honestly you want to water twice before giving nute's again. And she's past her two week mark she should be able to handle the nute's so if you really think she can handle it up the nute's just a tad. You should make a consistent schedule to when she needs her vitamins. Two parts water to one part nute. As in give her more water than you do nute's. If you see anomalies in your plant then fix schedule to match your plant. Also, your baby is only what? 19 days? You shouldnt be using a bloomer. It's auto so you should add the bloomer a few days AFTER you see hairs. While its in Veg you need high Nit. But if the way your growing works dude. I'm all for it. :)

So are you saying that 900ppm is too much? and being that he has not used compost that statement is irrelevent to the situation. He doesnt need to know what he SHOULD HAVE done, he needs to know what HE SHOULD DO. And I was not recommending him to use 900ppm but using a just a bloom nute when there is a Nitrogen dif. is not enough. You need an additive and you NEED TO FLUSH. By flushing you wipe your roots clean and prevent shock. Like I said some strains can easily handle 900ppm and my plants are only 21 days old. Ill post a few pics and you will be able to tell that my plants are in no way hurting. So by flushing and then adding N to your dosage even up it to 600ppm you will be doing your plant justice. Im sorry but 300ppm is just not enough in bloom regardless of how old your plants are and if your someone that grows with compost how much experience do you have with using, monitoring, and adjusting ppm? Im not getting on you but your comment seemed directed towards me for recommending to up your ppm. So I am justifying my credibility. I will be posting a pic of my plants in a few minutes and this is a SOG at 21 days old taking 900ppm. You tell me if there bad?

I have veg nutes but I do not want to give them I am in flower what do you mean it will not be enough my plants will die unless #I spend days flushing and then give veg nutes?

I don't know what to do

No your plants will not die, theres a good thread on here from "uncle ben" that you should read. He is one of the more knowledgeable growers on this site. He states that if your plants have a def. during bloom they will not grow to there full potential. Therefore by adding more nitrogen and getting the green back into your plants. You have a better all around chance of having a healthy plant that will produce more bud. You do not have to run veg nutes the whole time. By flushing and then adding veg nutes along with your bloom nutes on your next feed would up the N content and help with your difficient plant. Bottom line right now is that you have a difficiency and a difficient plant will not grow as well as a non difficient plant. You do not need to run veg nutes the whole time at all. But one feeding with them this early in flower will not hurt them at all and as long as your lights are cool enough to get close to the plant you dont have to worry about stretching. You dont even need to run a veg base nutrient. Buy seaweed extract, its cheap and high in N. Run it once or twice in your next feedings and then stop and just continue with straight bloom nutes.
