LED GROW, 13 days into flowering.

Ironically, penetration has been my concern as well. I do move the plants around their support daily, although they are not secured to the support. See above, and you realize the idiots I deal with. A guy tries something new, and post that it actually works, then everyone says you are an idiot and on your first grow. Ive been doing this shit for years, but I am actually open to the idea that there may be new technology and it should be administered and tested. A LOT of potsmokers/hippies piss me off, and are as ignorant as can be. I hate that oil that smells like ass, I like to smell pleasent. My girl, and my dog really appreciate that. Nothing worse that a dumbass hippie who hates the right, but all their beliefs are to the right but too stupid to realize it. Who says that? I said it.

I also use 4 foot fluorescent lights from wal mart along with the Grow panel...they seem to like both (I keep the lights led and fluorescent 'bout 4 inches from the tops).....and the fluorescent fixtures and bulbs are cheap at Wal-mart....If I come across a good deal on some leds I will buy 'em just to see how they work combined with hid for flowering.....just to see...I got nothing better to do...and I rather enjoy experimenting and seeing results myself....

I have a 26 watt grow panel.....at first when I turned it on I was like f*ck why did I spend my money on this bull.....I got it on Craigslist for 80 bucks and had to drive to butt f*ck egypt for it...........I threw it in my mother room just for kicks..I was just curious about LED lighting......this one is supposedly the equivalent of a 250 hps.....well I didn't check my mommies for 3-4 days convinced I wasted my money....when I went and checked my girls looked super happy...the leaf formation had changed completely...they were much wider and had more of a shape...they look really different and very happy...I have 1400 watts of hid in my flowering room..and wouldn't mind usind Led as supplement lighting......since the spectrum is better than hids for plants they sure do like it.....Led just dont have any penetration power...that's the only thing they lack...all in all I am suprisingly satisfied with my little 26 watt grow panel

u will be dissapointed if u gonna use leds for assisting light in flowering, they are only good for vegg period, they can't produce buds for sh*t. u'd probably do better sticking in a couple of 100-200w red CFLs at places light doesnt normaly reach in your flowering room instead of leds.

i'd say stick with flourecents/cfls/hps/mh until plasma comes out unless u find oil or win the lottery and u got a heat problem and dont wanna move or rebuild, then u could buy leds

I did use LED.. they don't work well enough to be considered a light source you could use to grow on it's own, and for the expense.. save your $$ .. and read my posts.. i said "it does work".. but if you think your plant is different than most grown with led, you are mistaken.. again.

Yes your right it did work for you mate, but it did not work efficiently. To most growers, those plants are a joke with the nodes spaced like that, therefore your results to us are not very good at all. But if thats good in your mind right on bro thats all that really matters right?

That article is old ...the op says so at the beginning,leds have come a long way..and I am only using the Leds as supplement lighting....In no way am I switching my 1400 watts of hid in my flowering room for led ......just for supplement lighting...and they have those plasma lights for sale already...someone gave me a link........If I find a cheap plasma somehow I would buy that as well even if the whole world said not too..I just want to see for my self..... first hand knowledge...I don't like hear say......and it's not a waste of money if I gain knowledge even if the results are poor......I understand what you are saying..I used to say the same about leds but since I had never used them I didn't know.....now I know they are good for vegging...maybe not the best but work far better than expected....

I just think its a beautiful plant. Now that I think about it, I had a lighting issue for about two weeks during veg. I had to put hotter bulbs in because of the cold so they were in no way close enough to the plant. The shit is illegal here, so I have to be as stealthy as I can be with it. I wish it were more of an open thig like in Cali.
