The bud dryer was one of the best things that we decided to do when we started growing. It's really quite simple.

We got a nice size rubbermaid tote! I bought a carbon filter with an exhaust fan built in, on ebay! We cut a hole in the side of the tote for the exhaust fan and put the carbon filter in the bottom of the tote. Then for shelves, we bought that do-it-yourself kit for screen doors at home depot, and cut out the screens to fit. To hold the shelves, we just drilled some holes in the side with long screws. Then we drilled a few more holes all around the sides for air circulation. It works by pulling air in over the buds, through the carbon filter and out the exhaust fan. You can't smell a thing, and our buds are dry in 3 days, and ready to be cured!

I hope this helps! The same thing goes for about $350 on the internet! We spent about $ 130 to make ours! Thanks for the compliments yall :bigjoint:.

Sure, no problem! We started from seed, of course, and we vegged for about 4-5 weeks, till they were about 12". Then we started to flower by switching to 12/12, and moved the females under the HPS. After a week of flower, we cut clones from the best looking female plants, with the best traits, and put them under the T-12 CFL's. After a week, or so, the clones have established roots, and are transplanted into bigger rockwool cubes. So at this point the female plants have been flowering for two weeks, with seven more weeks to go. So the clones will have vegged for 7 weeks, before they are put under the HPS, after we harvested the female plants.

So now the clones are flowering, and after a week, we take clones again from these plants and repeat the cycle all over again. We usually cut more clones than are needed, so we can pick the best clones to keep around!

I hope this answered your question. I think the process works great.:leaf:

We didn't veg long enough to get 6 feet out of our plants. Our system has height limits to how big we can veg our plants. So we start flowering when they get around 12" tall. That way when they are done there about 3 feet tall. Other wise we would probably veg longer just like your buddy. :bigjoint:
