Very nice mate, was there a question attatched to them? ive forgoten if there was. Nice load of plants there.
:wall: My plants are 3 weeks into budding and about 5/10 to 6foot and they started getting burnt so i bent the tips by squeezing the branch then gently bending. One of them was so tough that when i bent it, it split the skin..
I left it bent and duct taped it.. would this work?
Will she be ok??
I dont want to loose my arm size bud!.
is there anything i can do to garuntee survival? :wall:

Its got me pretty worried. If anyone out there can give me any advise would be very much appreciated. I.E Mr West your knowledge has really helped in the past maybe you could shed some light on this one.

Thanks

P.S 1st time grow in coco and i dont see any reason trying anything else, this stuff is genius.
I use it right from the cloning stage and the girls thrive through my whole cycle :-P.

Hairy Rabbit your a show off lol, nice plants! as for the 3 week in flowers that are 6 footers, how tall are your ceilings? those babies might have a foot or 2 more to grow! You might have to chop the top cola off early or try bending it, idk I'm new so don't take my advice lol, reading your issues makes me nervous as my plants are rocketing upward now that I flipped the switch. I'll be anxious to hear some ideas aswell.

This is where i struck my problem and had to bend them over my ceiling is high but not high enough obviously. its now day 2 after braking branch internode and duct taping it up and it seems to be sticking in there.
there might yet be hope.
Hopefully she'll forgive me. haha

Still any advice to repairing a broken internode would be mint:leaf::leaf::leaf:

i have been doing an experiment of coco vs soil...although with such a small number of plants, this experiment doesnt give us much data. i have tested one jack the ripper in soil against a jack the ripper in coco coir. i have been using gh gro, and maxi bloom. i have yet to add kool bloom. plants are just getting ready to start week three of 12/12. other additives include cal mag, humic acid, mycorrhizae, hco snow storm, and gh floranectar. ive been using a 400 watt hps, and water straight from tap. i have been watering every 5 days because plants are in 7 gallon pots. plants were treated exactly the same. DO NOT USE THIS POST TO JUDGE BETWEEN COCO AND SOIL...UNLESS YOU ARE NOT GOING TO USE COCO SPECIFIC NUTRIENTS.

reasons to why i think soil plant is larger:
large pots which means less watering (coco should be watered more often)
not using coco specific nutrients
any others?
denser canopy

reaons coco nugs are SLIGHTLY more developed:
less main colas..less competition
less dense canopy...more light penetration

here are a few pictures showing comparison...take a look and tell me what you think. these pictures make plants look real close to the same size. pictures dont show true comparison...in real life soil plant appears to be waay more denser than pictures can show.
