I was wondering when they plump up like what week of flowering? It seems mine aren't fattening up much.
My setup is : soil 4 week veg under shit lights. Im on nearly 4 weeks 12/12 with 5 cfls. 1st 2 weeks 2 42w then 2 more 1 42w 1 26w daylight and now 4 42w a 1 26w now a total of 194w
The only nutes I have used is miracle grow during veg and now every week with FF tiger bloom. Its all I can afford right now

Will or should they start putting on weight and filling out also the last 9 days have been real fucking cold here and temps are hovering around 70 lights on and 62 to 64 when there off and thats with the lights on all night

What do you guys/gals think?

temps should be ok just dont let it get any colder plants go through several growth boosts but i noticed most the weight ,with the strain i am growing, came the last 2 -3 weeks

I hope so they were growing good up till a few days ago I was adjusting lights every day to keep from burning leaves but now no real height adjustment in the last few days I hope its time to work on buds not stalk. There bagseed and wow I played with a couple of buds and WOW sticky and stinky but only up close not huge smell like a skunk but kinda fruity and I can't fucking wait. I think curing is going to be 1 of the hardest things I will have to wait for since christmas time as a child

yeah the buds will fatten up towards the end. mix 2 tablespoons of molasses(or syrup) to a 2 liter bottle and water with that every ten days. the sugars...microorganisms....lead to bud getting plump. when i first did it my buds doubled in size over 3 days

make sure its molasses, not syrup, and make sure it has less that 1% sodium
I use 1 oz per 5 gallons of water

all I can get is Grandma's unsulphered molasses I have heard people on here use but not sure of the sodium its probably good though I hope. and I know not syrup because I think thats just sugars no real micro nutes and from what I read thats why people use molasses

well the bud should fill inall the way the ast 2 weeks offlowering but ur using cfl's so i wouldnt expect tomuch filling in, had a friend who grew a plant with cfland the bud was very airy ( got us high ) but never really filledin

1 hps cannot cost much more than 5 FLO's. I'm on a meter for electric with electric cooker and fire 3 hps prim aire controler 2 vent fans and a fan dedicated to a cool tube AND 2 250 flo's for veg my bill is £45 a week I spent that on shit weed each week but not anymore

Yeah not expecting mag quality buds but still want to pushem as far as I can with what I got so I can last until I get better setup and go for big juicy mafuckers. This is all learning time till I get real setup not throw together a piece at a time with shit soil and all next time I'm going for some weed porn as long as I pay attention spend the money on the right stuff and invest the time which I will be

During flowering I would cut the lights back to only 6-8 hours of light lots of fans, good advanced nutes, and HID lights. CFLs are not so good for flowering because the buds become less dense and airy. My flowers are extremely heavy just as beggining cloves. Keep the CFL as close as possible to create nice dense non airy buds. The last week before you harvest flush 3-1 ratio of water vs soil do not feed, or water after the flush. Starve the plant and the nutes will go right to the buds. Half way through your flowering stage start pinching stems, twisting and lightly damaging the branches. This sends the nutes directly to the bud creating twice as much tricones as usual and density Plus more flowers that will pop out. Good luck ...the last three weeks is the most impressive your buds will be. Remember to flower for at least half or a little more of the plants life this will create an ounce or more extra

6-8 hours of lights are you serious? 16 to 18 or darkness? I have heard of at most 10/14 but never 6/18 or 8/14 anyone else know about this time frame?

I wouldn't do that. Most of that advice will turn your plant hermie before anything else. Most of what was described (extra trichomes, more flowers) happens all on it's own, near the end. Keep them on 12/12, don't starve them, don't start damaging them. Personally, I don't even flush. You aren't going to have a problem unless you're seriously overfeeding them.

Well I have gotten a little happy with the nutes so I will probably flush 2 weeks before and water with some molasses until 3 or 4 days before harvest and I'm gonna try 2 days of darkness right before. From all I read this seems like this will work definately not doing 8/16 keeping 12/12
