Well I started germinating these seeds a few days ago then came across this thread, now im in it to win it!!!!

Lights: Veg under 2ft 4bulb t5, Bloom under 400w HPS

Method: FIM and LST

Dimensions: hydro tray is 2x2 but still using 16oz cups.

Nutrients (For Hydro ONLY): SV/SB A&B, Kool Bloom, Grandmothers Molasses

Hydro Medium: Rockwool and Perlite

Soil: Vermiblend and Bio-Bizz All Mix

If these dont take off then I'll be starting from clone. Does the entry of all my info need to be in by 1/1/10 for me to be eligible?

so how much dried weight usually comes off a party cup grow?? if i can get enough to smoke on for a while ill throw another seed or clone ina party cup and join for sure =) i just dont wanna take up space and light in my closet and only get a couple grams ya know.

People can join after that date, but obviously if someone try to enter's a month after that, its a lil late you kno. Just something to go by, i threw this all together in a day haha

Well, not to point out the patently obvious, but assuming an 8 week flowering time, someone would have to already be a week into flower to make the 2/7 due date.

I interpreted the rules as a max five week veg time, which would mean that flowering would start on 2/7, which means plants won't be ready for harvesting until early April, or if someone's doing Neville's Haze or some other ungodly sativa, sometime in May.

That was the gist of my question.

Good catch on the "max" three entries, but since I'm growing out ~18 of them, I figured I'd be allowed to choose my best three - if this is not the case, then I can label which three I've chosen before I start flowering.

Another issue I had is that my flowering tent won't be ready until 2/1 (more likely 2/7) to accept these clones, so I wouldn't be done flowering until mid-April, and was wondering if this was a problem.

Of course, if everyone but me has the magic three week flowering strain and can take clones on 1/1, start flower on 1/15, and harvest by 2/7, well then I guess I'm just shit outta luck.

Would love some clarity.

Yeah, got that.

Which is why I asked when the contest ended - my guess would be May1st, but I was wondering.

And since I have no veg time for my clones, and would put them into flower on 2/7 at the latest, that would put me right at the end of the five week window, and I'd be legit, right?

Not trying to be difficult here.........

Hey guys, new comer here....This sounds fun. Can your entry start on the 1/1/10. Or do you have to be started before hand? I want to make an entry. But, I'm waiting for some beans to come in.
