i give up, la9 you win, you made the "case" but i cant recall every order be hassle free, looking for perfection in an imperfect world, i also pointed out a few other sources i researched looking for the perfect supplier, all i am looking to do is help a fellow out, your posts seem confrontational to say the least and like your trying to duke it out with me, what give bro?
I'm not trying to win anything, confrontational, hardly, it just seems like everytime there is a problem with HTG all I see is a couple people posting about how it's all good. It's an isolated incident, don't worry, order you'll be alright, they are new, they got more business, excuses excuses and more excuses.

I'm just trying to point out some facts so it isn't all one sided. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even spend my time on it. If someone is going to order they should know what's going on from both sides and decide from that.

That is all I'm trying to do...................

I think I've said about all I have so if you want the last word go ahead.

"we think you should reimburse" i think HTG s gRRRRRRRRRRR-GREAT! your getting mad bro take a rip from your bong and its ok, you still dont get it? why you arguing with me? obviously HTG is doing more business than many of its competitors, matter of fact i dont see many others get recommend as much as HTG, you think people dont have issues with BGhydro?or this place and that place? i used them for spray heads, but you dont hear about it bcus more orders means theres a higher chance somones order is getting messed up, it happens its life, this is the last post , please lets get along your making me feel like this is a court case, im not trying to win anyone over or sway someone to go elsewhere, why would i tell people to stick with what they know and i listed a few ebayers they can check out, just trying to help

this is something we can agree on, but knowing no matter who i recommend, theres a chance, especially when in "our hobby" most of the products we use are hand made, so i tell people not expecting a problem to arise, but im like hey , if you got problems with their stuff they will fix you up fast

i know i said 2 posts ago that was my last one, but i could have saved $180 on a ebb and gro, but i paid more from HTG, bcus i dont know what beyond hydro's policies are, if they can get me a new unit out fast, HTG sent me a bad ballast, this is no lie my first large order, they sent me out a replacement without me sending them the original, no tracking nothing, i sent it back 2 months later and they didnt even bother me, we spend our hard earned money and in my opinion, if you order from them and "if" theres an issue, you can sleep at night knowing you wont have to fight with them to get refunded, new unit or whatever

So, I called HTG this morning @10am and asked for Tony. I was told he was on the phone. I left my number and requested he call me back when he was off the phone. An hour later, no call back. I called them again, and was transferred to Tony. I explained the problem and Tony said that none of his employees made him aware of the situation after my previous calls/emails so this was the first he was hearing about it. He said he would get it taken care of asap and call me back when settled. At 1pm I got an email from a guy named Perry at HTG saying they had done an intercept with UPS. I'm not exactly sure what that means or if/when my package is arriving. But, It would be super cool if a bunch of grow equipment showed up at my neighbors house with my name on it.

FU HTGSUPPLY!

An intercept usually means they recall the package before it gets delivered and it gets sent back to the company of origin. So you might have to wait longer on it if they wait for it to return and then send it back out, or if they resend you a new order and just unpackage the one that comes back. It would seem simple for UPS to just change the address and make it the correct one but from what I remember they don't like doing that for some reason. Probably some liability issue where someone could complain they never called in and changed the address thus making ups liable for a lost package.

Anyway, good luck to you and your order, hope you get it soon.

I email them this morning, and they got back to me in a couple of hours. I was impressed.
I guess that's because everybody loves Bob Saget.

When I got home tonight there were 3 big boxes at my door. I opened them up and everything is as it should be. Not exactly a smooth experience. Probably my last with HTG. "Fool me once...uhm...fool me once....can't get fooled again!" -GWB

That seems to be common anymore, you post something so someone will post the opposite, makes you feel good.

Ordered from this company and it's been a month, "I ordered on Monday and mine was here on Wednesday"

Ordered seeds and they were junk, "no way I got the same ones and they are four foot tall"

Glad you got your order, hope it all works and you don't have anymore hassle with it.

I called a few different places after I'd compared pricing, and in the end, I chose Growco out of Michigan to deal with. They may not be the biggest shop out there, but their product line is vast, and their in-house expert (Mike) was extremely attentive, patient, and more than willing to take the time to figure out the best, most cost effective, and efficient solutions. Over the course of three days trying to figure it all out, I'd say he spent more than 2 hours on the phone with me, and said he didn't mind at all. He said indoor gardening/hydroponics was/is what he's passionate about, and he just wants to help people do it right. Their service was second to none, and because of that I HIGHLY recommend them.

i was also interested in HTG supply due to their low prices.
but after several e-mails went un-answered...they have lost my confidence as a solid company/retailer.

I sent several e-mails about a 600 watt system I saw on e-bay, asking them what made their bulb better, as their advertisement had stated.
I also asked if there was any research or proof as to the claims they made in their ad which claims 20% more lumens, better spectrum for plants, faster growth, all that good BS marketing stuff.

no replies? seems sketchy to me...

more realistically, they seem like a company that is growing faster than it can expand. seems like they need a dedicated customer support team.

Talk to TY at hydro farm, TX hydroponics tried to charge me 50 to replace a lumatek when it has a 5 year warn..I called hydro farm and spoke to man named TY in charged of that shit got me new ballast in three days, he saved my grow!!!!

I've been running HTG digital greenhouse lighting systems hard for the last year and pushing them on all my Hydrofarm and Lumatek buddies. And, although I have never had a problem with the hardware and find these systems to be good quality for the price, I am no longer willing to endure the incompetence and poor customer service provided by HTG.

I have placed 3 good sized orders with them and each time a major problem occurs due to human error on their end. Most recently they entered my address incorrectly for shipment. They had to of had my correct address for CC billing confirmation purposes, so WTF? I called HTG the day after my order when I received the email confirmation showing the wrong address. I was told that they would make the correction. When I called UPS today to ask what time my, "out for delivery" package could be expected, I was told that it was attempted to be delivered to the wrong address and is currently on a 5 day hold before being sent back. Great, thanks for nothing HTG.

Both of my previous orders were missing items, and/or incorrect items were received, causing delay and frustration.

Well, low price isn't everything. I'm tempted to just let UPS send it back and let HTG lose out on the cost of shipping over a hundred pounds of lights and fans.

Whatever the outcome of this transaction is, I will never order from HTG again. FU HTG SUPPLY!

i ordered a 150 hps setup from them Nov 15th.
I just got the light 2 days ago.... The first time they sent it, i waited like 2 weeks, then called tem and they said it was reported "delivered" from UPS....So they had to reship it.

Well, I haven't dealt with all of these other companies, but I've gotta laugh at all of this "my guy is better than yours" bs. If ya don't like a vendor or feel you are not being treated right, then speak with your dollars, and don't do business with them anymore!!!

Personally, I have never had ANY problems with any of my orders from HTG and they have always shipped very fast. Maybe I just got lucky, but until I personally have an issue they will continue to get some of my business (most of it goes to a local hydro shop now -- so I can pay cash with no names. etc -- but they are ridiculously high on their lighting equipment and tents).
