This is my first journal, but I have grown before. :fire:
I am starting this a little late since I am now in flower stage but I will post the first five weeks pictures.
I don't want to post all my details but I will share the pictures and a few details.
You may ask questions if there is something you really want to know.
For this grow I started out with two 600 Watt LED lights and one 400 watt blue halide.
The hydro unit is a Power Grower 8 pack using Hydroton clay pebbles.
Got the clones from a buddy and they were in bad shape when I got them.

At week 5 I switched to 2k of blue halide.

On day one of week six I switched to 2K HPS and 12/12 because they were getting too big too fast and they will keep growing after you switch over.
I will post some more pics at the end of week 6.
They are getting pistols like mad and stinking up the place. :leaf:

I used it for veg, I have 2k of HPS on them now, that is all the power I have in that room until the electrician gets here to install 240V outlets. Then I might use the 300 Watt LEDs as side lights after that. I am starting another grow now and I might use them on that one instead.

can really see a difference in veg after you hit them with 2k. i'm interested to know what nutrients you're running (ppm?). they must be pretty clean if you're comfortable growing on carpet. sounds like you've got some quality yielding genetics. had some heavy duty fruity that yielded well, stunk up the place too...

Yes these are reeking up the place already and I have 110 pound carbon filter and ona going. I don't have to worry about getting busted but I don't want the whole neighborhood knowing. I don't like getting all my plants ripped off. The growth rate on these clones is awesome I have been moving the lights up 2 inches a day all week and today they were right up to lights again and had to move them up 6 inches. Good thing I have 9.5 foot ceilings :bigjoint:
When that fast veg first happened they were at 2800 PPM :shock: Then I took it down to 1750 PPM and PH 5.8 constantly on the last week of veg. I did see a little tip burn at 2800 but these clones are invincible so I was not too worried.
This Power Grower 8 pack has never leaked a drop and I am very happy with it. I just bought another Power Grower since my wifey got her card too, so now we can have more plants. :hump:
I will post more pics tomorrow since it will be one week of bud stage done.

After leeching with Clearex and one week of 12/12 heavy flower nutes with Bud Blood and 2K HPS we are seeing many flower sets. The Big Bud seems to be setting faster then the Fruity. The Fruity keeps trying to run into the light and burn it tops. I had to raise the lights way up so they quit doing that. The hoses are maxed out and need replaced with longer ones so I can spread them out a little more. I would take the pics when the lights are off but the leaves are down during the dark cycle and they would look dead. I should take them right before the light turns on next time, the leaves spring up anticipating the light coming on. I will start posting pics more often now as bud sets appear. They have grown a lot in the last week. They went from 30 inches to 38 inches.

You will see some major production coming up real soon.

I will take new pics on Sunday, OMFG they are popping huge buds all over the place.:leaf:

Well as you can see they are doing very well for only 3 weeks into flowering. They drink 10 gallons a day of nutrient, the stuff is expensive too.

Some of the Fruitys are too tall and will get burned because they are 2 inches from a 1000 Watt HPS bulb, but if they touch the glass I will chop the top bud and smoke it, we need something to smoke anyway.

So feast your eyes on my plants and tell me what you think :weed:

Would have loved to see more LED growth pics. This is the best I've seen out of LED, but you also used HPS so it's hard to guage. Can you provide a link or model no for your LED setup? Nice looking plants.

2800ppm omfg!

I have two of those, I know they are expensive. I am using them in the veg room right now or they would be with the plants you see here, I would use them as side lights. I will post pics of the veg room soon and make a new journal, I have not decided yet if I want to use all LED for flower or add HPS. I will probably use 4k of HPS. Maybe someday I will use all LED just for an experiment. Maybe when I am sitting on a few pounds of Dank already.
