To Smoke or Not to Smoke?

...around your plants that is. I was wondering if any one on here has any thoughts or opinions on the subject of smoking around your plants. Whether it has an effect or not, is it good, why should you, why shouldn't you, is it superstition, blah, blah.

Personally, i think it is like eating beef jerky in front of a cow, not harmful, but none-the-less, not conducive

IMO it's a bad Idea, I dont have any proof good or bad. the way I look at it, is it's like smoking in front of your kids.

I dont have a clue weather or not it does or doesn't, but I'd rather be on the safe side. 20 yrs ago we were told second hand smoke didnt hurt or kill anybody, times sure have changed. also DR high: I really dont want to get into a pissing match, but do you think that it beneficial and how so

yeah, im convinced it's more of a moral thing....some people would think eating steak in front of a cow was immoral, some would think it was funny, and others would think that by feeding the cow steak, something profound would happen. food for thought is all i was after....

i smoke Weed only and i dont think its beneficial i just do cuz i dont want to leave the room just cuz i smoke pot lol

Doesn't burning plant matter produce CO2? CO2 is Good! I smoke in my grow room, the atmosphere is great, the temp is nice , and the VIEW "WOW"...

I really dont think there has been a study done that prove's its good or bad (please correct me if I'm wrong), I think it just breaks down to personal choice. also Jesus I really dont think the cow/steak analogy applies in this case

hahahhahahhahah i was completely kidding! of course not! I like smokin in my grow room. my ventilation system is good enough so when i blow the smoke out its gone in like 2 seconds.

You never know who's kidding and who's not. I know people that use their own piss to add nitrogen and swear by it (on a personal note I would never touch let alone smoke anything that has urine in it. there are better ways IMO to add nitrogen than piss)

It is not good to smoke around your plants, because the smoke can clog pores. I have learned this from this site on another thread...It really doesnt do "that" much ...I wouldnt worry about it...i chief with mine all the time..

scientifically, smoking around your plants closes the stomata which impedes transpiration. that is not a good thing.

and there we have it....a scientific answer. and if you look at your girls the same way you do a living thing....like a cow.... then it does apply....people for the ethical treatment of marijuana plants.....
