is there any way of keeping plants that bushy with hps lights?????? i see with cfl,s you can get them sooo close!! look good

The plants are still as bushy. You gotta keep the cfls that close cause they aren't strong. If anything HID is the best to veg from especially a MH. Most of the hps bulbs now are enhanced with extra blues and purples anyways to be a better all around bulb.

Yup, Im using the AgroMax bulbs 150k lumens each

Like GFK420 said gotta keep those light close, I have to adjust CFLs 1-4 times a day.

Yup the bulb I use has 30% enhanced blue spec.
Im thinking about swapping 1 to test 1 vs the other after my bag seeds r done.
Im also going digi on both ballast after the 1st of the year and taking the switchable ballasts I got and going 2Kw on some MH as well.

just thought that i would chime in and say that i just grew the g13 labs femmed diesel strain my last grow and am growing the sour cream right now
i totaly was impressed with the g13labs diesel.. a nice tasty strain and a great smoke all around... i was a lil iffy on g13 when i started out, but after growing the diesel and the super skunk from them, i will surely be buying more of their genetics in the future...
good luck with your grow.. sounds like its gonna be pretty sweet with 2k of light.. nice.. i'll be checking out your progress from time to time..

Yeah both the Diesel adn Sour Cream r doin really great, Im gonna b ordering some NYC Diesel on my next order, Im a HUGE diesel fan tho ive only had like 2oz of it back when i first started smoking. cant wait to be taken back.

i was thinking of ordering myself some chiesel.. cheese and diesel crosed.. i would love to get some of soma's nyc diesel, but i can't bring myself to spend that much money on a couple of beans, although i am sure that they are well worth it, just seems a lil excessive to me to be charging that amount of money for some beans..
nice to hear that your plants are doing well.. i am having a few issues with my crop this time around, but i hope to get it straightened out before too much longer..

FYI I heard that red diesel likes to hermie so you may want to get some dutch master reverse to stop it before it starts. Even if you dont need it now its good to have around in case you do.

Just a note here guys they are 26 days in veg
I count from when I move the tiny 5-6 day old seedling into it's final container (I only transplant once)
so they have been under 18/6 for 26 days.

I couldn't take it anymore, so I went ahead and put old sour creamer under the HPS, she will go to flower now!
Next week Ill put my other 2 into flower.

I cant wait to get my barneys diesel planted

Hmmmmm I would vegged a bit longer but thats just me. You have the light power to get huge yeilds if you do. Thats just my opinion though sooo..
