I decided to spray everything one last time. Those little white flies were getting out of hand. But the most important reason is that the trichs need a little more time. I checked them all out and most are fully cloudy with maybe 5% to 10% amber. Very few were still clear.
I carried my "420scope" and my new jewelry loupe. I wound up using it the most. Very quick and easy to focus.
I found a little more bud rot but nothing was down.

I'll know not to plant in that flood zone again.

That one lower bud is slowly dying. Prolly termites in the stem.

Yes they are! The bigger one looks quite smokeable!bongsmilie
Yeah a firm little mini cola on that BIG one, lol. That tiny little, broke over, half eaten, half dead, upside down growin' plant has some nice glistening trichs. lol maybe a joint or two if I'm lucky. :blsmoke:

"told you so" about the loupe bro... great looking shit like always...
Yeah, yeah :joint: Appreciate it. And thanks for hookin' a brother up. The 30X is nice but I could use a little more power though, maybe 45 or 60. When ya start getting old the eyes are about the first thing to go. But I like how simple it is to use. Even better than the magnifying glass. The mini scope is just a lot of trouble for me to lug around, focus up & down, and put away to the next time. The loupe is out of the pocket up to the eye and back into the pocket. Fast and easy. Yeah bro the bubble bags and the loupe have been helpful to say the least. bongsmilie

Slab the plants are looking great for all the rain you've had. I'm supprised those frikin termites havent eaten the entire planet, lol. Won't be long now. :blsmoke:
Yeah man no kidding. I've lost at least a dozen to the little pricks, maybe more. I just thought that drought was my biggest hardship. Once the rains hit, what didn't get knocked over or saturated was prime habitat for the termites. I'm sure I have more of them still at work. That sativa looks stressed but it's sitting in almost wet soil too though. Oh well, ha, Yeah I'm getting closer.

I have to say WOW!!! This plant looks great!!! Monster buds on her!!!

Thanks c. It's too bad she has some worm damage. She might have termites too. I'll probably just run her through the bubble bags unless I can salvage enough buds that aren't damaged. Make some lemonade out of the lemons.

Thanks for swing through guys. '09 wasn't the banner year I was hoping (and working) for, but it hasn't been a complete failure.

Psilocybe cubensis
Those grow just about everywhere you have cows or horses. Look in the old pies especially the edges and any corrals or hayrings where the manure can collect. Now dozens of other shrooms love those same places, so don't assume it's psilocybe just because it's growing out of cow shit. Always look for the blueing to be sure. I won't eat any I'm not 100% sure of. And don't assume there aren't any in a pasture because you can't see them looking across it. Most of them are found right under your feet or within 4 or 5 feet. They blend in especially in grass.

I don't like the little fluttering trip of a few grams so I usually save up 10 to 12 grams of dried ones to really enjoy nature's bounty. Be sure and give your body plenty of time to cleanse itself before a repeat. I'd say at least a couple of weeks. The nice thing is that nobody tests you for shrooms. And an overdose is extremely rare, I think you have to eat several hundreds of grams. shroomery.org has a lot of info there.

termites in the stem! Ha! stop growing bushes the size of small houses slab! looking great! I have a 30x jewlers loupe and was considering a scope, but based on your review I may hold off...

Hey mcone, well they are a pest. Short of lining every hole with termite mesh I don't know how to keep them away. I'm just glad to have a few left.

I'd say to go ahead and get the 15 buck scope at radioshack. It's nice around the house. But the loupe works better out hiking. It doesn't fog up much either.

yeah I did. Well too much fun ha. I did get 4 more jars trimmed & put into cure. Actually those big coolers do a good job holding it in a ready state until I get "unstoned" enough to do more. I just can't trim blazed. Too easily distracted and careless. lol

Man can you believe I got another 3.5" to 3.75" of rain overnight !!!!!!???!!!???

This is crazy. You'd think I was in the Pacific NorthWest instead of the South.

And it's still raining. Good grief:eyesmoke:

oh well another good day for some canning. :peace:

Hey thanks Green Cross. I'm glad to have these harvested these, well actually I had to since they were broke over by the last storm. Now if my real harvest doesn't mold before I can get them finished, it oughta be sweet. Then I'll be in high cotton. :leaf:

Thanks for swingin' by. :peace:

Well well. Waiting on seeds is a bitch. lol

So I finally ordered from two different seedbanks. I'm still too nervous to put all of my egg$ in one basket. Four different varieties that I've been wanting to try and whatever freebies they throw in. The suspense is killing me. ha

So maybe after (if) they come in, I'll share the news.

Feels like a kid on Christmas eve. lol

So, in the meantime, I've got a bunch of maturing ladies that need my attention.

later peeps,

slabhead :peace:

Besides attitude who else did you go with? I hope you got some strains that finish in September early October so hopefully you don't have to worry about the rain as much next year. Are you just going to put the seed out or are you going to start them early inside and take clones to put outside?
