LOL, ok, having just typed the title I realize that this sounds very crazy. But i was in the Live Chat and someone started talking about it...because we were talking about NASA "blowing up" the moon.

There isn't one side that is always dark.

The moon has a synchronous rotation it rotates same rate that it revolves - so the same side always faces the earth.
