Where The Hell Are My Gamers?

Common now let's bring all y'all out of the woodwork now :-P. Where are my fellow gamers, what console do you play on, genre, and what games? Me personally I stick to the FPS (first person shooters), and of course, I am one of the World of Warcraft geeks. Ooohhh yeah 80 pom-pyro mage ftw!! I've brought down my fair share of DK's dispite being a cloth wearer :twisted: And it bums me out that we won't see WoW: Cataclysm until 2012 sometime, haha, because Blizzard still has Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 to release.

Other than WoW though I concentrate all my efforts on FPS's. My favorite FPS of all time is the original F.E.A.R. The physics in that game were revolutionary at the time, and the game took the horror genre to a WHOLE new playing feild where the game actually fucked with your head and made you SCARED rather than just startled. However, I was disappointed with FEAR: Extration Point and FEAR: Perseus Mandate. I felt that they severely lacked in the horror aspect of the game that the original FEAR packed quite a punch with. At present I'm right at the end of I.D's remake of Wolfenstein, which I enjoyed for a shooter game, but the A.I definately could've been a bit smarter than they were.

Games defeated and thoroughly enjoyed: Half-Life2, Crysis, Gears of War, Doom3, and Dead Space.

I've seen on a show called X-Play previews for a game called Alpha Protocal, and I REALLY look forward to getting my hands on some of that, along with the new Dead Space expansion that'll hopefully come out shortly.

So yeah, I'm strictly a PC gamer, but let's hear from the rest of ya! Xbox, PS3 Wii I don't care.. what y'all like to play?

counterstrike source i love it built my comp just to play it......now i could build a much faster one for alot less...and i still mess around with diablo2 lod, i was so hopelessly addicted to it years ago, so i never explored warcraft.

I had XBox360 until the FOURTH one got a red light and stopped working. I got so tired of waiting for Microsoft to send me a new one which I knew was gonna do the same thing in a month anyway. I will never buy a Microsoft gaming console ever again. They basically did a cost-benefit analysis and decided f*ck the customers, fixing the problem would cost too much. So now I have PS3 and it is a million times better. This year's Madden is awesome as far as gameplay is concerned. So much more than just some polish on last year's game (which has been my complaint in the past few years). They completely reworked the game physics and it's sick with all the different tackles and catches that can be performed. And I'm still playing Call of Duty: World at War even though it's been out for a year. Slaughtering people online never gets old. Can't wait for the new one coming out in November.

Well I HAD a 360...but it now has the three rings of death (for the 2nd time) First time i was under warranty...this time I'm not. :( Anyone know how much it is to fix? Should I just say feck it and trade it and all my 360 games towards a ps3?

I also have a wii. The wii is fun...but I liked the games on the 360 more.

So in moderate gaming limbo right now. Waiting on Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 for the mac...those will be massive time killers.

It will just keeping happening. They never fixed the problem. Get PS3... much better.

I'll play any console if the game is decent.I'm big on roleplaying games, myself,and I'm a fan of old school.I have nintendo, snes,sega genesis, ds, gameboy, playstation,and nintendo 64 games and emulators.I play old dos computer games as well,and little independant games written by normal folks in their spare time.Graphics aren't a huge deal for me;they're nice, but if the game sucks, who cares? I do play an online mmo, but it's all text,so a lot of you probably wouldn't like it.http://genesis.tekno.chalmers.se/ I won't tell ya the name of my character,but if you decide to play and are on the continent of Calia, if I'm logged in, you can usually find me rowing boats around and killing water krougs.(At least until I get tougher.)It's a free game, if you're into muds, give it a try.

I played WoW, level 80 hunter and season 3 gladiator but quit over a year ago. Now I mostly play COD WaW on ps3 and guitar hero metallica/smash hits/ and guitar 3 on the xbox 360 all on expert. I also play GH WT on ps3 but its on a shitty tv that causes bad laaaaaaag.

I tried wow, I just can't get into it.It's a big treadmill.And I'm antisocial, sometimes I just don't want to have a party along with me, but I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so I always let them join me if they ask.And they don't really role play.I play role playing games to-well,role play.Guess I get that from my days of pen and paper gaming.

Play on an RP server where everyone is odd.
