I think fedors main problem with the ufc isnt the money is the exclusive rights to him, he doesnt want to be confined to 1 organization. Dana White is a nazi like that. And yeah the gracies didnt start mma, they started bjj and the ufc. They pulled out when they started making rules for the fights. I like Nick and Nate Diaz, they are technically sounds fighters, always surprise me for such scrawny guys, im pretty sure nick diaz doesnt fight in the ufc because dana white wont let him. He admitts to smoking all the time and claims he can now clean his system in a week to pass a drug test, you can do stuff like that when you have 0% body fat. Brandon Vera vs soszynski? thats the TUF fighter right? Thats seems like a sacrifice to me. I cant wait to see Nate the Great, that guy is a beast.

Fedor will eventually lose some steps, just like anyone else, but he is amazing that he can take the fight anywhere.
I love wrestling and Bjj so favorite for me are Miguel Torres. But if you want to see someone that is going to be a badass in the middle weights check out Toquinho Palharas.
Kimbo's fights were not 'fixed' but they were slanted. They gave the fighters massive knockout bonuses and nothing for submissions or ground and pound taps. So it basically meant that anyone that wanted to make some cash they wanted a knockout, which meant they stood with him, and that is all the dude has.
As much as I hate the show, Lesnar is a monster. You don't win a heavyweight NCAA tourny (or take 2nd the year before) without being a badass. The only thing that will stop his game anytime soon is if he decides to try to become a Bjj expert or kick. If he sticks to his game he should be a monster for a few years.

I love grappling so agree that it would be fun to have no rules again. But it does get boring with some of the rules, but sometimes they are for the better. When they can grab the fence is a big one. After a few UFC's their was one fighter that just kept holding onto the fence anytime that he would get into a bad position to pull himself back up or to stay up. It took the other fighters out of their game since he had no wrestling and was able to stop their takedowns.
I would like to see head stomps though.

He's fighting again in the ufc.CroCop that is. He was wicked in pride but a tool on the ufc. He was my favorite fighter at one point... In pride anyways.

A classic fight to watch from pride is the match between Mark Hunt and CroCop. Awesome fight it was. hunt won that one. He also ate a few of CroCops head kicks..

The kongo fight was alittle unfair..the judges didnt mark him down on the two ball shots, which in return would have ended the fight in a draw
He won his last fight tho against that mostapha guy tho..maybe a change will come.
Im excited to see how he does in UFC 103
