Awesome.....!!...... now that we are all on the same level...... Lets Get Baked out of our minds..... Take off our shirts........ huff and puff ;)........ stare out the window for a couple of hours mumbling incoherently about the importance of this or that detail, and finally all of a sudden your gazes fall upon the grow, and you all of a sudden understand what you must do ;)

Yeah I am....but why not....

Ok, so the 400 watt is sitting in its reflector, with the glass in, but no air cooling.

I have one exhaust for the whole room, with nothing hooked up to it. 6" 340 CFM inline fan, same one you got GB, the EconoPlus or whatever.

I was thinking about connecting one end of the reflector to the exhaust, which would vent the heat from the light AND cool the room.

But since I turned my fan down like I mentioned...my veg room is at 77f with 49% rh.

Its not all sucked in as much either. So I may have solved it.

TLD, it would be nice if I could have MY moment of clarity ;-)

OK I gotcha...

I thought the veg room exhausted to the flower room... or something...:eyesmoke:

As long as your temps are good... then you are good..

But may I ask why you are using the glass if you are not aircooling the light... you are blocking some light with the glass without getting the benefit of the air cooling, which would allow you to get the light much closer...

Just wondering...

That's a good question actually...

I guess I thought it would block some of the heat...

Think I should try the ducting, allowing me to aircool the light and drop it a bit?

Or just remove the glass if the temps are happy?

I would... but you can only drop the light so far before your corners begin to get less light...
True.

Its not an issue currently. I have 12x 16 oz cups and 1x one gallon pot. They aren't even using 2/3 of the floor space.

But as things get bigger....may very well become one....

But, my reflector is almost as wide as my tent...so I don't need to raise it too high to get a nice coverage area :-)

I am a BIG HTG fan...

and I made my own tent...

But from what I hear from the PROs..

Growlab tents are the shit...

A little more expensive but waaaay better quality than the second best... something about the "last tent you will ever buy"...

I have never seen one... but that seems to be the consensus with the guys that know their shit...like user SOG for example...;-)
