UUUhhhh, thats a pool ph test kit.

the range for a pool ph test kit alot higher than needed for maryjane.

You can still use it, dont get me wrong. But it uses a red phenol solution instead of one with a wider ph range.

You should use 3-4 drops




The kit I use is at the hydro shop. It has a wider ph range and is more acurate.
Do a google search for a nearby hydro shop and make some phone calls. Even if you have to drive an hour (like I do) it will be worth it.

okay then, My plant is only only like day 5 then. lol.. and i found the directions actually! i did grab them..in a different pocket. haha but its 5 drops of red. and my tap is reading way different then my fridge filter water.

from looking at that picture, you should use tap water IMHO, butim not a pH Expert, the right one also looks like 5. something like 5.7 or 8 arround there

it has to be 6.8, even tho it looks more like the color for 1 on the cl side

so the fridge filter must balance ph some how, good to know

so you should leave a gallon or container of fridge water around to distill and youll be all good

damn, 7.6 is way too high

and there is no telling what the other is, phenol red wont tell you in that range

you can aslo order my ph test solution kit online if you cant make the drive

yeah always do the finger trick, if its still moist you should be able to go another day without watering

do you think (when the time has come to transplant) you can fit a one gammon bucket in there, because thats probably the smallest you should have, anything less will deffrestrict roots on a flowering plant

true, if you can afford a few pieces of ply wood you can build a single plant box and it will be a lot better with wood and you can make it a good size. with a door, air intake(bottom) air outake(top)
and a fev cfl's can easily handle one or two plants
