So first grow of some bagseed. Using fox farm soil and nutes going up to full strength according too the soil feed schedule. I built up to this with no burning. The plants get only two hours of direct sunlight so Im guessing its there first problem. There watered once a week every other watering i give nutes. I use water I collect from rainfall to water. As you can see they stretched from lack of sun I suppose. Also one of the plants has purple stems not sure why. Two show purplish signs and stems but one in very good detail whats causing this? Any other suggestions greatly appreciated will take criticism as well. Sorry for crappy pics I suck at photography.

Puple stems can be genetic, but you're probably over fertilizing. Flush and start giving half recommended nutes to one, and see how it responds after a few days. The plants look pretty healthy to me, but there is some burning on a few lower leaves. GL

I think the leaves your talking about are from a feeding that happened about a month ago. I havent noticed any new burning since going to the 2 tsp of grow big. I could flush and cut back a little Im concerned mostly with the sparatic growth/ stretching as well as the denseness of the one plant . They were lst at first but I let them up now cola's keep growing and only on one side of the stalk. but I think they will be under matured by the time the plant is harvested.

The plants get only two hours of direct sunlight.......thats nowhere near enough direct light for cannabis growth, you'll yield an 1/4 dry if your lucky with being in the shade all but 2 hours. mj like lots of direct sunlight

Is there supposed to be an image in the first post? If so, I cannot see it.

Some of mine had purple stems during the first week after sprouting, turned out fine.

For only two hours of direct sunlight that seems just fine. As far as the purple stems go, all I could find on the net is mention of a probable phosphorus deficiency. What nutes are you using? Also, are the purple-stemmed plants the same strain as the regular ones?

Using Fox Farm Nutes Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger BLoom. I also have the solubles Cha Ching and Beasti BLoomz although I havent started using those yet. My last water I gave molasses to them as well. But these purple stems have been around since the begining. And yes there all from same strain. Just two of the plants with purple stems the other two not and funny thing the ones with purple seem to be doing better.

There's the answer to your worries. Maybe it's their way of telling you not to fix what ain't broke.
Yeah I figured they just responded better to the lst training cause there a little more dense vs the others . Still figured something was going on though.

These were seedlings around May 21. Thats the first post I posted on riu. About a week after the post I burnt all 10 seedlings I had. Watered around 10:00 sun came roaring out by 11:00 they were hurt bad. Out of the 10 I had 5 seemed to pull through so I pulled the other 5. After a few weeks of them repairing themselves I Lst'd the remaining. THey all responded to lst nicely but after reading I decided to stop lsting cause I didnt want rootbound plants since there in 3 gallon pots. I dont want to transplant agian since I already did this twice and ffof costs 25 a bag here. While untying kite string that held the plants down one of them got cut on main stalk It was bad. I tried to put tape and heal it but After a week of watching the top slowly die away. I decided to top it cut it at the second node. It was up to its 7th node prior to damage. The plant responded with 5 cola's now and growing ok. One of the other 5 just seemed slow and week so I pulled it as well. Now only down to 4 plants Im trying to baby these. Especially cause there showing preflowers and all ended up female. Lucky me the 4 I kept all were female. Anywho here is my essay/grow journal minus pics of all stages. As stated before they only get 2 hours of direct light the rest is shaded throughout day. And Using Fox Farms Nutes and Soil. And Just started giving some molasses waterings too. So I believe the time spent recovering from all the hell I have put them through these plants would be much bigger.

move into direct sunlight for longer periods of time, :).... the plants not using all the nutes your giving it if it doesn't receive the light to make more energy and draw additional nutrition out of the soil. Put your 3 gal pots into 25 gallon buckets with a ring of holes punched in the sides 6 inches up and then lightly wrapped with plastic, :P..... or transplant into bigger pot and figure out your soil sit. or stick in the ground......... Your plants really would like more light though, direct light, ;)

lst doesnt cause rootbound as far as i know, it looks like u could have some monsters on your hands if u lst and maybi fim em. like theguy above said, it needs more direct light too. if they have gotten this big from 2 hrs imagine what they'd look like from 10........
