First grow, plants were planted on 4/12/09, have been flowering for a few days now.
first 2 pictures is the smaller bushier plant, second 2 are the larger plant.. all 4 pictures are different in either time or plant.
The different picturesd of the plant are taken 17 days apart from each other, 4 days after flowering.

Once you get a feel for 12/12 from seed growing you wont go back! I nkow what you mean about that vegging period, I love the speed at which 12/12 grows develop.thanks mr rocket this whole thing gave me a great confidence to 12/12 from seed.
I have been doin the veg an bla bla for the past few years with good results just very slow and too big.
and this looks likes a great option

The plants below were planted straight into that large pot soon as they cracked and were harvested at 78 days so 11 weeks start to finish. ( I always grow 2 per pot with 12/12 as the root mass is so much less dense than with long veg periods) The pic was taken a couple of weeks or so before harvest time
No veg box required, multi strains, just some of the advantages of perpetual 12/12 from seed method.
I currently have 4 x Northern Lights by Nirvana going 12/12 from seed in my thread

where i live we have 12 hoirs of light all year long, 13 at most in the summer, my girls started showing flowers the first month here they are month a half from seed now!!!!!
first pick they are from june 7 and the rest a a week old, they got some pretty nice buds by now, follow my journal will keep posting pics

welcome all the new growers. Wow.
Rememember this is a 12/12 for seed. so i did see one with veg time. but with my dyxlexia i didn't read the whole post. the pics are nice.

Excellent roots. Nice job. So nice and white.Thought I would give ya an update pic from today. I had to move them around in thier pots because of over crowding. This grow has been very informational. I have needed to understand a few things and I have gotten the education of a life time!!
Took a few shots of root porn for those who like that sort of thing!

Hey all, here are my 2 lil girls. Talk about DIY boxes, they sprouted a few days ago and the only way I can keep the humidity up in the box right now is to mist the inside of cups (with holes placed in them) and place them over the girls. I have the cups on during light on and take them off when the lights go out. It's a chore but they are THRIVING! Woke up this morning to take the cups off and the leaves are getting bigger. so I guess I'm doing something right. This is just a test grow, to see exactly how cheap I can do this, so far I only spent money on the bulbs. YAY for me!!
the box: just a carboard box we had left over from moving, the light fixture is one of those spider lamps that I took off the stand this way I can move the lights around the plants as they get bigger. The fan right now is my only one but seems to be doing okay for now, I will get another soon, came from an old PC we had. the potting soil is some cheap stuff I got from a green house months ago (5 euro for 40lbs). I used foil in the box and seemed it together with a hot glue gun, (I'm a pretty crafty lady)

Yes I know the temp is high, but I will be getting another fan VERY soon, and the temp difference when the lights are out is only 10degrees.

i am looking into building a aeroponic system (like this https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=44 ). you think this 12/12 from seed would work outof this? me myelf i would THINK it would beperfect but imma noobee so i ask questions. have not seen many hydro growers in this thread is all but did see 1 i think.
now i read this whole thread so i should know this answer but i am a lil fuzzy on this part. i am going to use those Grodan Rockwool 1.5" cubes in 3.5 inch netpots. you dont use these or grow this way but thats not important. i will be germing my seeds in these and i am hazy on the light here. will i keep these in the dark until i see those lil round leaves then switch the 250 watt hps to 12/12 or would i use cfls or somthing on a different light schedule for a few days so that i dont nuke the seedling? thats a long ass ssentence pardon me.
ok last question what does DWC and LST stand for? see it alot and it is common knowledge to all but me. prolly the dumbest question in the thread but its killin me softly.

Here's a quick 2 shots of my 4 Nirvana Northern Lights fems at day 15 from germination, 12/12 of course from seed! Stealth type grow, 350watts CFL's. same 2 per pot set up that produced the Kush plants pictured a couple of pages back here
My standard method since starting 12/12 from seed grows, with no problems. PLenty of room in there for 2 sets of roots!

I came home from a hard day at work to tend to my ladies. I had found that my timer had quit on the water and the exhaust blower had been tempermental and decide to go on strike!!!
10 Days later and alot of string to tie them up!!

So here are my little beauties, I think they are about a week old. Not really keeping track just going with it. They are on 12/12 and have been since I notice them SHOOT out of the ground.I know..they are a little tall, they are bag seed, and I think I got 2 different strains, one has fat leaves and the other has skinny ones. The one with the deformed leaves the light got too close to her, I check them twice daily to make sure that my timer is clicking on and off and to move the lights as needed.

can't really tell from that blurry pic, can you get a clearer one?? i just finished a 12/12 from seed grow and most of my plants showed their sex in 16-21 days...so that is probably normal growth...you know how to spot a male and female right?? in a couple weeks they'll show themselves, pray for at least one lady, ahaha...
