Hey guys,
About 5 weeks into 12/12 cycling phase. Would like some input on how you guys think the plant's doing. Also, anyway to tell the approx yield yet? The top of the plant has one big nug so far...looks a bit stemmy but whatever its my first grow haha.

No excuses. Especially since your plant looks awesome. Nice colour, the leaves pointed upward is the sign of a healthy plant during flowering. Bud growth is substantial, and she should start filling out more in the coming weeks, go to 9 weeks if it's still swelling after 8 weeks. Molasses has been shown by some experiments to increase weight by 20%, use approx. twice a week during flowering, you can start now and it will be alright. It's actually alright for your plant to be stemmy, with CFL's this can be good, because well placed side light will light the buds along the stem better than if it was all squished together. Looks good. time to get that plant some friends if she doesn't already have some. i would like to see your setup (lighting and such) and the rest of your plants if you have any?

I want to offer a comparison to my plants that are exactly 5 weeks into flower. I'd say the cfl's are holding up well to my hps lights. I have 2x 150W HPS. Your plants look really healthy.

I have 4 plants at 5 weeks;
2 Chemdawg D's (LST only)
&
2 Ortega Indica plants (LST & scrog)

I'm nursing one of the ortegas back to health after a nute deficiency as seen in one of the pics.

I don't think it is a very good idea to spray your buds during flowering man. You are asking for mold and bud rot. I would suggest not spraying your flowering plants any later than two weeks into flower.

The setup isn't anything to brag about but it gets it in..up until today I was using one 26W CFL & two 13W CFL's. Just replaced one of the 13's with another 26W in hope for some more bud.. I just started using Miracle Grow Bloom Booster 15-30-15. :bigjoint:

Try getting some 42 watt CFL's from lowe's or homedepot. They will be much brighter than the bulbs you have in now

The 26's are $1.99 a piece...checked Lowes out today and they want $10 for a 42W CFL. Screw that lol. :cuss:

Using 42watt, even if in a smaller amount on your next grow, above the plant will help you keep it shorter. Then all that light can be utilized by a larger amount of your buds instead of just one. I'm sure you have been told before, but LST helps a lot for tall plants, even if just a little. I started out with 6500k 26watts and added 2700k for mixed lighting during flowering. Great results. One 42 watt well placed will grow larger bud than 5 26 watts

Ur pot looks a bit small 4 such a tall plant. U should consider movin it to a bigger pot so the roots can really stretch out= bigger nugz
